This sort of still relates to classical music, it involves violins and background music is hip hop, I think it plays a big role for classical music. Shows that violins aren't just for classical music.

You should check out Mason Bates. He's a composer by day and DJ by night! It's not quite the same as what you posted, but it's another example of mixing hip hop and electronica with classical music. One of his pieces was played by the YouTube Symphony Orchestra (with him as the DJ).

X3 now check this out, a couple of high school students, remixed the song with some bass, drums, a cow bell and im'ma shine instrumental from the step up soundtrack. its amazing i luv it.

Also, Black Violin has some pretty cool songs!
They're a violin group who puts hip hop beats and styles into their playing. They even have one song based on the Brandenburg. :]
