So all numbers 1-1000, take out the 300's... there's 10 numbers with three in it every 100 so that leaves 100 (total)-10 (the 300's)= 90
Including all of the guesses already made with three in them that's 14 down... so 90 (total minus 300's) -14 (the ones guessed wrong with 3)= 76
assuming it only has one three in it cause you said "a three"... that's 9 less so 76 (total minus 300's and the one's guessed wrong)- 9 (the double threes= 67
so there's a total of 67 possibilities... excluding the following: 300-399, 63, 283, 123, 73, 430, 369, 403, 503, 433, 35, 3, 673, 13, 932, 263, 33, 133, 233, 433, 533, 633, 733, 833, 933. (and mine if I'm wrong)
And it was either 1-1000 to make the number harder to guess or because the number was a higher digit so I'll rule out double digits. Now I'll guess...
