Apparently there hasn't been a topic about this yet which i first didn't understand... but then i heard of Fish that there is no Hanabi festival in the NTSC region at all, which is kind of weird. D:
To explain what it is... the Hanabi festival is a short "festival" on the Wii Shopping Channel where they release Virtual Console games that never reached the European shores. This includes translated Japan-only games.
So far there has been two here, the second one just ended a week ago.
The games released so far:
First Hanabi festival :
- Sin & Punishment (Nintendo 64)
- Gradius III (Sper Nintendo)
- Legend of Hero Tonma (Turbografx)
- Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (NES)
- Mario's Super Picross (Suoer Nintendo)
- Neuropia II (Turbografx)
Second Hanabi festival:
- Bomberman '94 (Turbografx)
- Kirby's Dream Land 3 (Super Nintendo)
- Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II (NES)
- MUSHA (SEGA MEGA DRIVE)
- DETANA TWIN BEE (Turbografx)
- Smash Table Tennis (NES)
Some games disappeared from the shop and some were kept available.
Discuss the awesomeness of this.
Nintendo Cult!
So long and thanks for the memories.
