Travel Log: Crystal Moon

Crystal waited until he was out of sight before picking up her exasuted, yet hyper Mudkip. "You went a bit out of control there Tally. After we heal you up, we'll head out." She took the injured mudkip to the pokemon center, and waited for her to heal.
Tally hopped out of the Pokemon center with new resolve, and led Crystal into the nearby forests.
There, they found groups of wild Zigzagoon and Poochyena, as well as many wurmple. Crystal wanted two of each gender, but Tally did not think she could handle that many fights in a row.

[[Okay, I'll start there then.]]
Crystal decided she would go for a Poochyena frist. They started searching for her desired pokemon, and Tally was looking in odd places. Tally stumbled back as she had indeed found a pokemon.

Tally had indeed found a Pokemon, and to their luck, a wild Poocheyana jumped out at the Mudkip.

Crystal gave the Poochyena a calculating look, and decided to attack first, "Tally, Hit it with a Tackle!"
The Mudkip bounded forward in response.She hoped it would be the only hit she would need, but knew she could not be that lucky.

The Poocheyana let out a small yelp as Tally hit it, but quickly jumped back to its feet and retaliated with a Tackle of its own.

Crystal looked at the pokemon. It was weaker than before, and she thought she could catch it. "Okay Tally, stand aside," She comanded her mudkip. Tally moved out of the way and Crystal tossed a pokeball at the Poochyena.

The Poocheyana disappeared inside the ball, which proceeded to shake three times before giving a little 'click!'.

Congratulations! You've captured a Poocheyana!

Crystal squealed with joy and picked up her new Pokemon. She said, "From now on, you'll be Dusk." The Poochyena gave a growl of approval, and then began to rest in its ball. Tally and Crystal began to search again.

As she continued, Crystal would notice that it seemed to have become much quieter, save for birds chirping in the trees every so often. The sun was just beginning to set, showing the approach of dusk.

Crystal and Tally continued to search, adamant to find at least one more pokemon. Crystal had decided on a Wurmple, so if they saw anything else, it would serve as experience gain. But as the day turned to dusk, Crystal decided to pick up the pace to Oldale Town.
