Poetry? Oh no...

Help! I do not know hwo to write poems. I can do haikus and acrostics but that's not what I'm aiming for. I want to write like other people. The longer types of poetry. I don't know the different types and I want to know how to write them but I don't.

Learning to write poems is not something that can be done. Write from the heart. It doesn't have to rhyme or follow rules. I just write what I feel, or what I dream. You can start by reading poetry from other normal people. A great website is www.quizilla.com . Regular people post whatever they want. It's one of my favorite sites, check it out.

Uhm.. how can I put this nicely..
I dont want to be rude, but... you cant just learn how to write poems, its either something you are born with and good at or not good at.
You cant just learn how to write one

But if you have an idea for a poem.. Write what you have on here and people will be glad to help you improve it

Also dont think that you have to write poems..
Its just another steriotype..
And besides "emo" and this guild is stupid cause no one is emo..
Its just a state of your mind..
And its only a type of music..
Not a type of person

So plese, get that out of your head.
