Hufflepuffs Scathach13 I'm just going with the he-isn't-fully-human theory. I mean... have you ever seen ANYONE on that show do HALF the stuff he does? I mean, okay - Team Rocket living through all that stuff is pretty wierd, but he's... I mean, he's been lit on fire, drownded, crushed, died several times, hit by fighting pokemon in ways that would have killed a normal person, electrocuted, cut, strangled, psychically attacked... So basically he's a demi-god? Like Hercules? eek DUM DUM DUM!!!! *dramatic effect*

Scathach13 It is genetically impossible, or at least HIGHLY unlikely, that Professer Oak is Ash's father, unless Delia is not his real mother or she has dyed her hair. This is due to something called "Punnet Squares". Now, Black hair is a dominant trait, above all others. Sort of. I'm really simplifying this, but whatever... Now, say Oak had two brown genes, and Delia had two reds... B B R BR BR R BR BR All of the children would have redish-brown hair, or one of the other. It is impossible for a black haired child to come from those genetics. Mind you, this is MASSIVLY simplifying this, but... Too bad it's an ANIME, meaning you can have ANY COLOR HAIR YOU WANT.

Hmm... I say we dissect Ash for science! Bring back Misty and make her the main character until he returns. If he dies, we'll just get a bunch of pokemon to cry or whatever and bring him back to life. Cry harder, Symba! XD
But if his dad is Oak, and if he is Gary's uncle... Then why are they hiding it?
More importantly, if Oak isn't his dad, wouldn't that mean he died and therefore make Pokemon a Disney movie in a sense?
