They're recording an album now. Its basically in the finishing touches. Its not going to be anything like the old albums though. No cinimatics or concepts, just standard rock.

Yeah, they're slowly coming out of hiatus at the moment, I can't wait til they bring out the new album, they're my favourite band - it actually causes me a lot of trouble, always having to fight people about how they aren't "emo", it's tiring sometimes. I love what I've heard from the new album on youtube and stuff though. if you wanna check it out, google "my chemical romance the roxy" if you wanna check out some of their new stuff, it sounds totally different to the other albums, definitely more of a rock feel to it
