Character Name: Naru
Physical apperance: A little over 5'11, Naru prefers to wear a dark hooded outfit, thopugh he usually keeps the hood down. He has bright crimson eyes that are usually friendly, though they turn a darker and deeper red when he's angry or fighting, and look like jewels of blood. He looks like this:

Age: 1,223 years old, but he only appears to be in his early 20's
Personality: Naru is generally detached from situations around him, though always acts accordingly when forced. He becomes deadly serious when in a fight, and the full moon can bring about a saddistic personality in him, though he still tries to be friendly to whom he trusts.

Occupation: Master Of Darkness

Biography: Naru's past of one of mystery, though he remembers it all clearly. Growing up, he was a young noble, highly known for his skills with dual katanas, as well as his knowledge in dark arcane lore, though he had never practiced any dark arts himself. However his life took a twist when, on his 23rd birthday, he was attacked by a rival and left for dead. As the night rose, he was Turned by an ancient dark vampire, and as such, was forced to flee his homeland, though that would later prove to be of no consequence. The next few hundred years pased slowly for him, his master trying to convert him to the dark ways, despite Naru's resistance to give in to the dark forces, and culminated in a showdown where he was forced to defeat his creator in order to finally free himself of his past and start a new life, having never aged. He exists now as a force to be reckoned with, as it is known that what few vampires exist, grow much stronger with age.

Name of Weapon: Kenkage: The Sword of Shadows
Amount of points: 100/100
Element: Shadow and Darkness
Description of ability: Kenkage is Naru's primary katana. Made from solidified darkness, it is closely attuned to the the powers of shadows, and quickly gains power in the darkness, having the ability to change it's shape and length using the shadows around it. With each point upgrade, Kenkage becomes even stronger and sharper, and with every 10 points, Kenkage access a new skill. Now with the element of Darkness embued into it, Kenkage grows stronger as it responds to the Darkness within and around Naru.

1-100 points: Dark Drain: for each point of Darkness Naru has, Kenkage gets slightly stronger and increases in size, doing a tiny bit more damage.

10 points: Dark Reflection: Kenkage can be split into two equal strength blades, but making a copy of itself from it's shadow.

20 points: Shadow Eater: Kenkage can "eat" the shadow of another weapon, and change it's form to become that weapon. This also applies to the Dark Reflection skill.

30 points: Shadow Wave: This skill sends out a a shock wave of shadows with each attack released by Kenkage. This also applies to the Dark Reflection skill and Shadow Flurry skill.

40 points: Shadow Stalker: This skill enables Kenkage to release attack beams that move towards the opponent with each strike Kenkage makes, enabling it to attack from a distance.This also applies to the Dark Reflection skill and Shadow Flurry skill.

50 points: Shadow Strike: This skill makes it so that Kenkage can attack opponents by attacking the opponent's shadow. It will not cause any damage, but the opponent will still feel the pain, as if they had been hurt. This also applies to the Dark Reflection skill and Shadow Flurry skill.

60 points: Shadow Flurry: This skill gives Kenkage the ability to make multiple strikes all at once, making it so that each hit is actually 5 separate hits, done at a rapid speed. This also applies to the Dark Reflection skill.

70 points: Shadow of Despair: Naru can sacrifice some of his own health in order to charge up his swords with energy stored inside his katana, which he can then release to cause increased damage. The more he charges up this energy, the more damage is caused by releasing this energy. This skill is can not be used with other skills.

80 points: Shadow of Vengeance: When Naru takes damage, some of that damage is turned into energy and stored inside his katana, which he can then release to cause increased damage. The more he charges up this energy, the more damage is caused by releasing this energy. This skill is can not be used with other skills.

100 points with 50 shadow: Shadow of Oblivion: This skill allows Naru to hurt opponents, simply by attacking their shadows with Kenkage, and it's dark reflection, no matter how far away their opponent may be. If the opponents shadow takes damage, the opponent takes damage, regardless of position. This can not do any lethal damage however.


Kenyoru: The sword of eternal night
Number of Points: 100/100
Element: Darkness
Weapon Skill: Time paradox: Fueled by a great demon sealed within, when the blade is released it cloaks the immediate area with night. It boosts darkness abilities and can eventually manipulate time.
Description: About the size of a wakizashi, it is the brother sword of Kenkage. Sleek and dangerous, an old demon slumbers within. The blade is pure black with a zigzagging blue pattern up the blade. New abilities are learned every ten points.
5 points: The blade is sealed within the sheath, and emits a small amount of darkness when removed.
10 points: When pulled from its sheath, Kenyoru alters time in the area to instant night, boosting darkness attacks and weakening those of light.
20 points: Darkness cleave: Kenyoru fills Kenkage with dark energy, boosting shadow abilities. Can also access those abilities with weaker power.
30 points: Time of day: Naru quickly alters time in a localized area to make it daylight. Banishes oncoming darkness attacks while casting stronger shadows for Naru to use.
40 points: Replay: Projects mind into future to read attacks. Consumes vast amounts of energy.
50 points: Warrior's second: Stops time around Naru. He cannot physically harm anyone while in this state and can only resume time if within five feet of where he activated the ability.
60 points: Shadow overhaul: By sacrificing some of his vampiric blood, he can temporarily turn the shadows of his enemies against them. This deals moderate damage and can only be activated by stabbing their shadow with Kenyoru that has his blood on it.
70 points: Vampiric boost: Can alter the age of his body temporarily. Anyone who knows vampires knows that they get stronger with age.
80 points: Butterfly effect: Can summon versions of himself from other times and realities. For example, summon an older Naru.
90 points: Restoration: Reverses time around him to completely heal wounds. Once per battle
100 points: Oblivion blade: Shatters time around Naru. Time fluxes and changes, aging or restoring what is in his path. Reality is also askew near him, and he can change it. This does not apply to RPC people, though NPC people are affected.


Name of ability: Regeneration
Amount of points: 30/100
Description of ability: Using his Shadow Magic, he takes away shadows regenerating his body. The shadows he takes are given back as he heals normally. This takes a small bit of energy from him, and happens automatically while he is in the shade.
10 points: He can regenerate 10%
20 points: He can regenerate 20%
30 points: He can regenerate 30%
And so on...
100 points with 50 Shadow Points: If Naru is killed, his body will automatically ressurect itself. Can only happen once per battle.

Name of ability: Vampiric Blood
Amount of points: 100/100
Description of ability: Using his arcane knowledge, and his skills as a Vampire Lord, Naru can summon and manipulate shadows in the following ways:

1 points: Shadow Shield: (Summons a shield which Naru can use to block melee attacks. Breaks over time.)

5 points: Dark Barrier (absorbs minor attacks and fades)

10 points: Blood Pulse (sends out a wave of shadow energy dealing minor damage. Mostly used to clear space.)

15 points: Unholy Aura (Deflects all attacks, lasts while user has energy)

20 points: Shadow Meld (User vanishes into shadows underneath/around him to quickly dodge attacks, or to transfer his body to a differint location via shadows around him)

25: Shadow Drag (Allows user to pull his target with him into the shadows in order to move through them without getting hurt. Basically, this move allows the user to copy the effects of Shadow Meld onto his target, but only while physical touching the target. Can only be used while there are shadows.)

25 points: Shadow Blast (Summons energy from shadows around him and condenses it into a ball of energy to attack one oppenent.)

30 points: Shadow Form (Body turns into an actual shadow, making it impossible to hurt. Uses no energy but can only be done in shadows, and cannot hurt others unless using shadow weapons.)

35-45 points: Devil's Advocate (Summons a being of darkness from the Shadow Realm to fight on his behalf. Creature summon varies with level.)

45 points: Shadow Prison (Traps enemies in a box of solid shadows for a period of time.)

50 points: Shadow Dash (user can teleport himself and allies from one location in shadows to another instantly)

60 points: Dark Clone (user creates a copy of themself to act as them. Uses energy over time, and can fade with enough damage)

65-70 points: Shadow Bind (summons a physical shadow that connects Naru to the shadow of his opponent(s), giving him the power to drag them towards him, or swing and throw them. Length of shadow and amount of enemies that can be attacked using this at once increase with level)

80-90 points: Death's Uprising (Summons shadows from the ground to materialze into solid spikes. Can be used to impale enemies from any direction. Level increases area of effect and damage from spikes.)

90-100 points: Omega Cannon (Channels a massive amount of shadow energy and fires it as a beam. Does massive damage to both near and far enemies, and can take out multiple opponents at once. Pierces guards. Uses up almost all energy. Level increases duration, length, and damage.)

100 Points: Infernal Demise (The user selects a target, or group of targets around him and pours all his energy into opening the seams of reality from beneath his target's location(s), pulling them into the portals, and causing them to slowly cease to exist, for as long as this is being cast. Naturally, this will kill nearly any victim within 30 seconds, however due to the energy and concentration needed to activate and uphold this spell during that duration, it can be easily interrupted. Even still, the nature of this spell prevents any damage done by it to ever be reversible.)

100 points with 50 Shadow Element: Demon's Baptism (Complete Mastery of shadows, the user casts the entire region into shadow, and thus can manipulate it any way he wishes. lasts for only an hour. Can only be used once a week.)



Dual Infusion (Darkness) :
This imbues the element of Darkness into Kenkage.

Power Overwhelming:
This is a basic ability that everyone should have. It increases all physical abilities, allowing for speed strength and endurance. It makes the person have better fitness.

Darkness: ∞

Shadow Element(Custom): 50/50
This is the element which deals with shadows. Neither light nor dark, it is a medium not fully understood yet, but has great potential to be used either way, though it is seldom wielded as such. This is Naru's primary element, as he was taught to use it when he became a vampire.
