Here's the article I found by accident.

I'm not exactly an Obama supporter, but I don't see anything wrong personally with how he greeted the Japanese Emperor. Because he wasn't "bowing down and worshipping" the Emperor or anything of the sort. It was merely a sign of respect that is shown over there, and considering he was a guest in their country, it would be extremely rude not to honor his hosts in that way.

Well, I'm wondering what anyone else has to say about this, and if anybody else has anymore information or news articles to add, please do!
