It's not possible. Sorry. Game Boy games can't be transfered to GBA games.
You'll have to catch your Pokemon all over again, which, really, shouldn't be that hard.
I mean, if Mewtwo is what you're worried about... you can catch it at lv. 70 in FR/LG

Can game boy original/colour games even fit in Slot-2?

If you were paying attention, someone else already addressed this in an earlier post...they can't. GBC games don't fit in slot two, believe me, I tried. A lot.

No you can't. The second and third generations were completely seperate. There's no way to transfer anything from one to the other. You might be thinking of the G/S/C to R/B/Y Time-Machine Trading, but, again, what you are describing is not possible...

Yeah, they changed the number of pins in the link cble and everything.

Some game boy color accessories will work(if rigged right) on the GBA, but only because the power slot is in the same spot, relative to the shape of the plug(GBC worm lights work on the GBA, for example, but will be upside down.)

If you didn't save your master ball, it was a real b***h due to Ultra Balls missing all the time on rare Pokemon. It took me M* Poke Balls and a good hour to catch him. xd
