Me personally, I didn't work all that hard... And I didn't eat all that much.

The sound of my father's exhausted breathing as he ate corn off the cob was a bit stomach churning, and I dare say the portions of plates around me were a bit gross.

I think I may have been scared anorexic. And of course jokes were made at the expense of my vegetarian diet. How rude of me to come eat with the family.
