Hi there, i've been making new topics and i figured this would be a nice one, so here it is.

The Poem Thread: here you can post poems. whether its poems you made, poems you heard, scary poems, sad poems, funny poems, it doesn't really matter. it doesnt even have to ryme. i just want you to feel free to express yourself.

I have soo many poems that i've written.. here are a few...

Screaming Confessions
Dear father, I've made a mistake
I've sinned against what I don't believe in
Remorse has not opened its doors to me
Oh, how I've wronged you.
Oh, how I've wronged you!
This is beginning to drown me
I'm lying with every breath

Screaming my confessions, spilling all I can for you
Do you think I'll be forgiven
This deception and mistrust, I have had enough
I need to be forgiven

This is my apology
This is my truth
I've fallen to my knees
Excuse my inability to care
Screaming my confessions,
Dear father, have I made you proud?

I need to hear you scream "you're forgiven!"

This one is kinda creepy

It's Always Fun to Pretend
If we pretend this doesn't exist,
Maybe it will go away.

She screams as loud as she can
Her black lungs burst
Blood runs from her mouth
Hell was no place for her.
Inhailing the ashes
Every breath is painful
Simplicity no longer exists
Let her burn

This could be a nightmare
Her throat will smile
Maybe she'll be happy then
Maybe this is her nightmare
Let it weep

He can run from her
Until his heart explodes
The difference won't be met
Closure never reached
This blindness
This pain
This fitting punishment

This dying night
We'll watch you burn

We'll watch you as you fall

She bleeds right before his eyes
Every inch of her shivers
This frozen embrace
She won't find comfort
They've found their graves
Her frozen lungs
His frigid heart
They bleed...

wow, emily.. your talented. honestly. im making a band and if it was alright with you, i was thinking of maybe trying to make a song out of those. xDD :]

Erm... I dont really want you to use those ones. (sorry, I just dont want you to make a song with these pieces of my work). but I can give you one that you can use.. ive been trying to make it into a sing for a while now.. im giving you permission :3
I willl tell you the story behind this one if you want..

Cutter's Lullaby

go to sleep, close your eyes
and dream of broken butterflies
that tore thier wings against a thorn
you know the pain that they have
borne.

Silver metal shines so bright
scarlet blood feels so right
dream of the blood trickling down
wake up just before you drown

moonlight shining off your tears
as you bleed out your worst fears
so tonight when you start to cry
whisper the cutters lullaby

hushabye baby youre almost dead
you have no pulse and your pillow is red
your family hates you and your friends let you bleed
Sleep tight with a knife 'cause its all that you need

rockabye baby broken and scarred
you didnt know life was this hard
time to end the pain that you hid so well
And down will come baby straight to hell

This one you can make a song out of.. but please, odnt use the other ones

Mmkay. this is a more person one about an "experience"

Razor Kissed Wrists
With razor kissed wrists
this is my bright red scream
as I press donw harder blood begins to surface
I convinced myself "you dont feel pain, forget it, it's worth it"
you convince yourself that there is no pain
I try to forget
it's just my sick little game.

There's white ones, red ones, fresh ones too
Im ashamed of what I do
as time goes by they get harder to hide
more skin with scars on the outside
hide them with long sleeve shirts, it covers them up but doesnt take away hoe much they hurt
it hurts the same when nobody knows; its just they way it goes

Cut to feel alive, its something I know is real
its something I wish I wish I could hide, something I wish I didnt have to feel
when things get bad, its just first instinct to just cut away
cut away, make some new scars just to get through the day

This time it got out of hand, I cut too deep, I can hardly stand
Losing way too much blood, I begin to fall
This will be my little secret
I wont say anything at all.

Never say "I love you"
if you really dont care
Never talk about your feelings
if they really arent there
Never hold my hand
if you are going to break my heart
Never say you are going to
if you dont plan to start
Never look into my eyes
if all you do is lie
Never say hello
if you really mean goodbye
If you really mean forever
then say you will try
Never say forever
'Cause forever makes me cry
