I was raised with Christmas. Anyway it is more of a commercial holiday now anyways, even Santa is sponsored by Coke-a-Cola.

No.
My parents are also Atheists. But they do celebrate holidays, because that's just how they were raised. They do like tradition I guess.
I've decided I'm not really seeing the point of it. I've decided that the only good thing about holidays is spending time with family. I spend time with them anyway. So I'm not going to actively celebrate any holiday.

I went to my parents' house that day. I helped my mom, cooking and cleaning and such, for all the guests who were coming. But I volunteered to work on the holiday eve, and I went to work before everyone else came. It didn't bother anyone. If I didn't have work, I'd come just to be a good host and have a nice evening with my family, and because I'm not trying to make a scene. My opinions on religion and holidays shouldn't come between me and people who are close to me.

I was pretty relieved not to get any presents.

We didn't celebrate any holidays at my apartment either. None of my flat-mates really cared, I suppose, and it made me feel pretty comfortable, because I didn't have to come play along just to be nice.

My parents are atheists, but they were both raised in religious families, so Christmas is a traditional thing for us, and we have given it a new meaning. To us, Christmas is about celebrating our family and giving just to make people happy.
