What are some asian traditions?

Just if you kinda want to share some traditions that you do. I don't do any, but it'd be interesting to learn some.

For Viets in High schools they wear uniforms in School like Japanese people
instead of a tie, skirts, and white shirts or suits or whatever
they where long white dresses called áo dài
and guys wear dress pants and a plain white shirt

I don't know if it's a tradition, but.
I used to get scolded when I would stick my hashi (chopsticks) into my bowl of rice.
She would tell me that you would only do something like that for the dead or whatever. And that you would die if you left it like that.

I think after all these years, that last part was just to scare me straight. >_>

Before entering a house. Because it shows a Sign Of respect to the family and the house.

Its not tradition its Superstition. Cause if the Hashi (chopsticks) Stick Up wards its a sign of badluck.

yea u right when iwas still in vietnam i saw my older cousin wearin ao dai i was so curious to y she wear it
