The intensity of the sky was almost godly that night, as the strange unity of the two were together. Perhaps this was why neither of them seemed to notice what they were doing, and why they were doing it as many people were slaughtered in front of them. The man of darkness had no idea of what he was doing, he could hear nothing but the beating of the oracle's fragile heart. The beating of the two hearts in unison, the sound of breathing, and the nice cold air against his back, those were the only sounds that were attainable at that moment. With his eyes closed, Teran began to fly higher into the air, spinning slowly as he clenched her tighter against him. He reached down, and kissed against her soft cheeks, a layer of red forming over his own cheeks, he was blushing slightly.

Swooping down low against the ground, Teran was slicing innocent bystanders in half with his wings, which were now covered in thick crimson. He was smiling, even laughing as the screams around him were unheard, building being destroyed as a layer of darkness covered Byakuren from harm, debris bouncing off of Teran's back like pebbles. His cloak ripped off of his body, and fell onto the ground slowly, his tie still wrapped around his neck elegantly. With his long hair flying behind his body, he kissed the oracle again, before flying slowly down to the ground.

Alex watched carefully as the two embraced, noting that he seemed madly in love with her. He felt a pang of regret at leaving his own beloved far behind him, but their love was never meant to be. A solitary tear ran down his cheek as he snapped out of memory lane and noticed Teran unintentionally slicing people in half in a love drunk haze. Alex ran forward, but slipped and nearly fell down in a literal wave of blood that rushed down between his bare feet. He grimaced, then carefully jogged after the cmson wings of his target. He noted in the pad that he killed anybody around with minimal effort, except the Oracle whom he protected. Teran drifted to the ground, somehow blushing in the cool night air.

At least he has some shred of humanity left in him thought Alex as he hid behind an upturned cart, once again pulling the wind slightly toward him to hear their words.

Sighing after the final kiss, Byakuren laughed. Her voice rang with the chill of ice, but was truly a joyous call, the utmost rarity of reaction from the young Oracle. To see Teran blushing while in such a drastically changed form tickled her for no good reason. The death around her and her monstrous date continued to be ignored, even as she swung down from the arms that had pulled her into the sky minutes earlier. Her feet landed with a ‘squelch’ of blood soaking the wraps at her instep and other more meaty things squeezed between her toes from the crushed skull only inches away. The entire populace that had been flourishing when they first arrived was devastated, the ruins of building burning and casting a gruesome light across the night.

Turning from Teran, Byakuren’s hand smooth her feathery white hair away from her eyes, “Thank you…” Although the Oracle was still doubting her ‘love’ for the man, his dark presence pushed against her and inhibited her mind from analyzing the relationship any further. Instead she turned back and laced her arm about his waist, lavishing in the darkness dripping from him…the ability to touch his skin and be touched in return. All of her wishes, those wants that were rarely ever satisfied were finally reciprocated in the form of one person who actually cared for her.

Falling to the ground, the man of darkness let the amazing beauty and wits down to the ground, resisting the urge to keep her in his grasp. Teran began to look around, noticing that multiple people had died. Why he ignored this was unknown, perhaps it was her gave. Yet as he stared into her eyes, he leaned forward to kiss her once again, jumping back only to lift her into his arms again. There was someone here. "Byakuren! Its Alex! The man I had fought before..."

"Alex!" Teran yelled, staring at the man his black wings began to glow. He was ready to fight, to show his power to his love, hopefully she would breathe in his darkness, and love it as much as he was.

If I were the rain
That joins sky and earth that otherwise never touch

"Oh.......crap" exclaimed Alex as he realized that he had been spotted. The slightly demonic form of Teran suddenly called out to him, wings glowing in the silver light of a full moon. The sky was cloudless, but the wind began to pick up as the auras of two powerful warriors stood ready to face each other. The massive clash of energy proved fatal to some of the innocent onlookers, although anyone with enough power to fight was unscathed. Alex's aura turned into a solid wall of wind as he readied to attack. Alex knew that doing anything other than giving a major attack while Teran was in a earlier form would do nothing but give him time to transform. Raising his hammer above his head, five balls of light flew out and circled around him.

These balls of light flattened to become circles, and symbols began to appear. These circles began to change as symbols for the fire and wind seals appeared. As Alex considered which one to use against Teran, the voice of Kozuchi Ozuchi rang through his mind, as well as those around him. "The opponent that stands before you has tremendous dark energy within him. But I also sense a great light emanating from his heart. Perhaps it is the girl, but his light appears to be supressing his dark side for now. You will need the power to fight, but you have not made yourself worthy to wield my true powers. You shall have the use of only one more of my seals." With those words, the third seal began to change. What was once a question mark expanded, filling the entire circle. With a brilliant flash of light, it was revealed to be 水. Alex nearly cried.

Alex had hoped that it would be a powerful element, such as lightning. However, his hammer had given him a curve ball in the form of his least favourite element. Water aroused great fear in him, as swimming was the only thing that eluded him. Alex shook his head and slammed the hammer through the circle, shattering it. The hammer continued on it's path, slamming into the ground and creating a massive version of his seal. The ground rumbled, and jets of water spewed up from the ground from the town's water system. The water shot straight up, then made a beeline to Alex, then stopped when it entered the seal. The water curled up, forming a shark that hovered before Alex. The shark turned toward Teran, then opened it's mouth wide. Alex shouted "Fire!" and a massive burst of water flew toward the demonic man. This was no ordinary water, as it was superheated nearly to the point of boiling and contained a massive amount of the heavier metals to increase the attack power. This would at least leave Teran with severe injuries while allowing Alex some time to escape. The only thing that Alex regretted in this was that he had been spotted and that he had to attack a so called hero.

Could I join two hearts as well?
