Bloodline: Kukan

User ImageUser Image
Name of weapon: Currently, the black one is called "Yin" while the white one is called "Yang". As a whole, she calls them "Yin-Yang". Their actual names are unknown until Kageko regains her memories. Yin-Yang is a type of weapon created from the soul. These weapons, and other items like them, are called "Keys".
User's Rank: Chuunin
User's Name: Kageko Uchiha
Where it was found/Who made it: Kageko has had it with her for as long as she can remember so she doesn't know how it was made or where it came from. The weapons were made from Kageko's soul herself. It is a custom of her clan, the Nai clan, to create an item from the soul at birth. This item is known as their Key. The Key, whether it's a weapon or a tool or something else, will remain with the person it was created from for the rest of their life, changing as time passes to suit the person.
Users Class: Weapons Class
Weapon Range: Slightly further than Kageko can control it (she can give it a push as it nears the edge of her area of control and so cause it to shoot out like a normal projectile).
Weakness: Look at weaknesses for Nai clan.
Description: Two chakrams, one white and the other black. They both have the symbol 空 in the middle of the handle. Until Kageko trains more with them, they have only the basic abilities of all Keys.
Ability 0: The basic ability of Yin-Yang is storing chakra. Without any effort, Kageko is able to store her own chakra into the Keys for later use, expanding her own chakra reserves when it is most needed. At the first stage of her clan, she is able to store up to the chakra equivalent of three jutsus of her rank into the Key. Each stage onwards allows her to store two more jutsus worth of chakra of her rank. This chakra increases both the general jutsu count and the jutsu count for her current rank.
Ability 1: The first ability starts to spread this chakra absorbing concept to a wider range and is able to draw projectile-related, chakra-based attacks to either Yin or Yang, sparing others from the attacks. This includes chakra-powered projectile weapons, mid-/long-range ninjutsu, and mid-/long-range genjutsu. Depending on the situation, even attacks that affect a general area become focused in on one of the two in this Key pair. Because the user must hold the weapon that is being used for this ability, the attack is also drawn towards the wielder as well.
Ability 2: Going off of the basic ability to store the user's own chakra, both Yin an Yang (either one of them is fine) are also able to block ninjutsu and even genjutsu techniques by draining the chakra that the attacks send towards the weapons. While this ability blocks the ninjutsu/genjutsu by absorbing the chakra used in the attack, it is not able to get any sort of chakra boost and/or store the chakra that is drained. In addition, while Ability 1 is a D-rank attack, the chakra cost varies from attack to attack (equivalent to the chakra cost of a jutsu a rank weaker than the attack that is stopped) and this technique can only be used on jutsus that are equal to the user's rank after he/she reaches the third stage of the Nai clan's training. Up until then, only jutsus up to one rank below the user's rank can be nullified. This technique has absolutely no effect on taijutsu/weapon attacks and attacks that use pure chakra (ex: a simple rasengan).
Ability 3: While the principles are the same, the results of the fourth ability are completely different from the results of the other two. By sending a jutsu through either Yin or Yang, it's power can be amplified. Jutsus up to A-rank will have their power doubled by S-rank jutsus will only experience a quarter of an increase in their strength/speed/whatever attributes they may have. Apparently, the concept is that when Yin or Yang absorb the chakra, they can shoot it back out in the same form but with the chakra of their user as well to increase the power of the technique.
Ability 4: The third ability creates a circular area completely void of any chakra at all. Any attempts at using chakra will simply end in failure and even long-range ninjutsu will immediately disappear after entering the area even if they were created from the outside. However, this technique affects both friends and foes while also causing the user to completely focus on the technique and thus making themselves vulnerable to attacks from others. In addition, there are various stages to the technique: a B-rank amount of chakra will only create a small area devoid of chakra, usable only for meetings and such; an A-rank amount of chakra will cause the no-chakra zone to encompass an area that's large enough to fight in but small enough to escape from should such a chance be give; and an S-rank amount of chakra can cover an entire village. Chakra must be fed into the technique every three posts and Yin-Yang (both of them) are always in the center of the area and must remain immobile throughout the entire time that this ability is used.
Ability 5: Well, I can't think of it at the moment so I'll try and submit it later sweatdrop . Hope that's alright with you >_< .

Rp Sample: Kageko blocked the fireball with her chakrams, using the chakra stored in Yin-Yang to support her fast-depleting energy and surround the side facing outwards with as much void as she could, which is around 50%. She could still feel the heat as her hands and her arms were hit by little flames, but it stopped the majority of the fire from reaching her. As soon as the fire jutsu dissipated, she tossed Yang at the enemy. The opponent blocked it easily, but that wasn't what Kageko was aiming for. Using her kekkei genkai, she appeared next to her opponent and, grabbing Yang, attacked him with both Yin and Yang, Yang coming down from the left side and Yin coming up from the right side. An earth wall rose to stop up the attack, but the jutsu was easily nullified as the chakra was absorbed by the two weapons. Forced to block physically, the opponent managed to simultaneously stop the onslaught of both weapons, only to have to face Kageko. She had been running directly behind the chakrams the entire time, using the rubble of the collapsed wall to hide herself as she came in to finish the fight.

Chakram Wielding
User Image

History: The basic style for using chakrams. It isn't anything special, really. It is a stlye accumulated from the experiences of past and current users. Because of its make-up the style doesn't have traits that are specific to only one village and combines the skills of various other weapons styles.
Style Requirements: Chakrams: any size, type, and kind will do. The chakrams that are meant for this style are more similar to the chakrams used by the character Axel in Kingdom Hearts than the traditional chakrams. The Specializations must be learned in order (1,2,3,etc.) and Infuse must be learned to learn any Specializations.
Movement Description: A mélange of movements is the basis of this style. Of course, it has its specific traits, but a lot of the movement depends on the type of fighting that the user prefers, making it a very versatile and unpredictable style. However, at its core, it is a style that focuses on flexibility, ingenuity, versatility, dexterity, and agility. Chakrams are a unique weapon in that they have blades around their whole body, making them dangerous to the inexperienced wielder. However, their all-around protection allows for attacks that other weapons cannot achieve. Their unique shape allows them to be used as both a short-distance weapon and a long-distance weapon. More often than not, chakrams can be adapted to other styles (just keep it realistic), and so can utilize techniques that were usually meant for other weapons (ex: fan dancing, chakra edges, quick draws). Practitioners of the style are some of the most agile, cunning, and dextrous ninjas of their level. As an added bonus, chakram users are also able to react to and block most physical attacks with just there bare hands thanks to the dexterity their hands develop in this style, allowing them to be able to hold their own for a while even without their weapons. Because the style is so varied, it is possible for a member of any class to learn it no matter what restrictions that class may have as long as the people of the class are allowed to learn a weapon style (ex: medical ninjas can learn this style because it is possible to incorporate punches and kicks into the style).
Training: Each stage requires 5 posts plus the level of the rank to learn (ex: stage 1 requires five posts while stage 2 and 3 require 6 posts). If the stage rank is higher than the user's rank, then it takes twice as much per rank to learn (ex: a genin learning a jounin rank takes 8x3=24 posts to learn the stage). Jutsus follow the standard posting requirements of all jutsus.

Stage 1 Academy Student
Stage Description: This stage focuses on getting used to the chakrams. To prevent themselves from shredding their arms, beginners often practice with dull chakrams or wear arm guards. However, it is not a requirement to do so. By the end of the stage, they can hold their chakrams and attack with basic stabs and slashes without cutting up their arm too badly. However, more complex maneuvers often end in cuts. Furthermore, unless they had experience with dual-wielding, the practitioners will often get their chakrams tangled up in each other if not careful.
Stage Powers: The user is able to perform basic strikes with the chakrams without cutting himself/herself. However, more complicated maneuvers will result in cuts and slices on the user's arms unless he/she gets lucky.
Stage Jutsu:
Dual-wielding- Although it is obvious that chakram users must be able to dual-wield, most other styles learn dual-wielding at much later stages. To clear up any confusions, it is made clear that practitioners of this style learn how to dual-wield at a very early stage. This technique is a must before moving on further in the style.

Stage2 Genin
Stage Description: Stage 2 continues to focus on the basic slashes but also takes heed of slightly more complex movements by improving and adding onto the basics. Most importantly, it emphasizes the idea that a straight line is the shortest distance between two people. To drive this point home, weights are usually worn to encourage only the most necessary of movements. It also starts training the long-range ability of chakrams, specifically the accuracy. At this stage, weights are also added to the body to increase physical fitness. These weights may not be taken off unless the user is in a dire situation. However, at this level, taking off the weights will only result in a very slight increase in skills.
Stage Powers: Less cuts and improved ambidexterity. The user can throw the chakram as if it were a basic projectile weapon. Slightly improved strength and speed from the repetitive training. However, much still needs to be learned to actually be able to battle with chakrams. Furthermore, the frequent cuts caused by practicing with the chakrams builds a resistance to cuts in the user, allowing him/her to take minor cuts on the arms and in the chest area without flinching.
Stage Jutsu:
Adaptability- As the user learns other weapon styles, he/she becomes able to incorporate the techniques and skills of that style into this style as long as it is logical. In short, the chakram is capable of using the techniques of other weapons as long as it makes sense (ex: chakrams can be used for any of the techniques of the Akira style, minus any movements that require the traditional weapon of the style, the fan, to be flipped open).

Stage3 Genin
Stage Description: The basics for attacking are now definitely know, but more time will be required to truly master them. Now, it's time to learn about defensive basics. Chakrams, while they can be thrown, have a shorter range than most other weapons when held properly. To make up for this, chakram-wielders have to be able to dodge and defend against the attacks of longer-reaching weapons while also attacking at the same time. A good offense requires a good defense. To maintain this defense in such close quarters, speed and balance are a must along with dexterity and quick reactions. Once again, weight are worn. As before, they're used to encourage efficiency, but now they also are used to better the movement of users as well. While user's were encouraged to move only in straight lines before, they are now encouraged to take advantage of pivots, slides, and other creative techniques to create an opening. Of course, efficiency is still stressed. The practitioner also begins to practice throwing chakrams. Although they only focus on accuracy for now, they will continue to develop this skill in later stages. The number of weights is increased in this stage with the same restrictions as before. Now, though, there is a noticeable increase in speed and agility when the weights are taken off.
Stage Powers: Much less cuts. Users can now hold their own against people of their own rank, but it will be slightly difficult and they are unable to purposely perform anything serious. Agility and speed are greatly increased, so is endurance thanks to the suffering of numerous scratches from the training. Thanks to the ambidexterity gained from training with chakrams, it is also possible to somewhat dual-wield other types of weapons.
Stage Jutsu:
Chakra strings- The user can connect strings of chakra to their chakrams, even from afar, to control the movements of their weapons to a certain degree. In a sense, it mimics the jutsu used by puppeteers to maneuver their puppets. As with most other jutsus of this style, it is possible to use this technique on objects other than chakrams. Chakra strings do not work on puppets unless the puppeteer allows it/does not do anything to stop it. Even if the user is allowed to use the strings on a puppet, he/she will not be able to control the puppet properly unless he/she is a puppeteer himself/herself.

Stage 4 Chunin
Stage Description: The defensive training from before introduces users to even more possibilities with the chakrams. Furthermore, the hands are now familiar with the chakrams and can control it to some extent by shifting its hold on it.
Stage Powers: Thrown chakrams can now have a spin added to them, allowing them to take a wider variety of paths. However, they still follow the laws of physics (it is impossible for a thrown chakram to suddenly make a sharp turn if it had been going in a straight line). Although they have already gotten used to stringing together moves and moving the wrist to attack with the chakrams in a variety of ways, the hand can now do so more easily, even shifting holds while in the middle of a move to change the position of the chakrams or to make handsigns. This flexibility and dexterity is the real basis of the technique, and it has greatly improved in this stage. Accuracy with other ranged weapons has also improved. The user can now hold their own against people of their own rank and are able to purposely inflict serious damage. As with the previous stage, the amount of weights placed on the practitioner is increased, which also increases the bonuses the user feels when their weights are allowed off.
Stage Jutsu:
Reinforce- To strengthen their chakrams users can coat their weapons in a layer of chakra. The chakra can also be used to push certain parts of the chakram, giving the user yet another way to control their chakrams. The chakra can also be used to extend the edge of the chakram or to create a shield from it.
Endurance- Using the same concept as used in Reinforce, the chakra is instead molded over both arms, or any other part of the body, to protect them. The chakra is used to shield the arms from damage and can be used as armguards. In the later stages, when Specializations are learned, Endurance becomes an even more useful technique as it protects the arms of the user from the effects of elemental attacks (ex: razor-sharp winds that swirl around the chakrams).

Stage5 Chunin
Stage Description: By now, a set pattern of favored attacks have already been established. However, the user is still as flexible as ever and is not afraid to change styles in the middle of a fight. It is in this stage that differences in attacks are really seen with elements and individual preferences creating a variety of original attacks. By now, most of the basic conditioning is done. Finally, in this stage, the weights are completely taken off. Of course, there's no harm in keeping them on either.
Stage Powers: Ability to infuse elemental chakra into chakrams to create a certain effect. Element must be the user's primary element. Now that the weights are off, the user experiences a huge increase in speed, agility, reaction time, and strength. As a result, other aspects like flexibility and dexterity are also increased.
Stage Jutsu:
Infuse- The wielder is able to infuse any element that they have access to (medical, bloodline, demon, and village elements all count) into their chakrams. When the chakrams are infused with the element, they become surrounded by said element and gain a resistance to the element that they are currently infused with. While this technique isn't strong enough to really be able to do anything other than perhaps offer a bit of protection, it is a must to learn the Specializations.
Specialization 1- Depending on the user's primary element (medical and bloodline count), he/she can infuse their chakrams with the element to create an unique effect. The effect varies from person to person but it can only be one effect and it must be related to the user's primary element (no flaming chakrams when the main element is wind). The effect is considered a custom jutsu and has to registered in the custom jutsus thread. Although a variety of different specializations may pop up, only one may be known at this stage. The first Specialization has to be a C-rank or lower.

Stage 6 Jounin
Stage Description: While a set pattern was established in the last stage, practitioners of the style at this level are skilled at copying and adapting to a multitude of styles even when in the midst of a battle. This is yet another show of the signature flexibility of the style. Further improvements in dexterity are made. At this stage, the entire hand of the practitioner can move so fast that only an experienced doujutsu user of the same rank or higher can read his/her hand movements, especially when preparing jutsus. Furthermore, phsyical dexterity isn't the only type of dexterity that has been trained throughout the style. The flexibility of the style also increase both mental and chakra dexterity. However, it isn't until this stage that such aspects are truly focused on. Be creative in how they are trained, just be sure to train them.
Stage Powers: The ability to create hand seals so quickly that only doujutsu users of the same rank or higher can read it. Improved chakra and mental dexterity also open up new possibilities.
Stage Jutsu:
Copy-cat- After the end of any battle or spar, the user is able to copy any weapon technique that they had seen. Only one technique may be copied from each battle and the technique can only be used with the chakrams. When the jutsu is listed in the character profile, it must be noted as a Copy-cat technique in some way or another. While the process is referred to as "copying" it still requires the correct number of training posts to gain the ability.
Kai (chakrams)- Not the usual "kai," this kai gives the user all of the abilities of the normal kai, plus a 50% chance of avoiding any genjutsus that the user normally wouldn't be able to dodge.
Blast- By focusing chakra into two chakrams, it is possible to create a cannon of sorts out of two chakrams by lining up the centers of both chakrams with the target. The first chakram collects and focuses the energy into the center of the "cannon" while the second chakram aims and further focuses the chakra into a beam that is then shot out. The power of Blast depends on the rank of the user, anyone of the user's rank or below cannot deflect the attack. The radius of the beam is 2 meters in each direction. Blast requires two posts of preparation but the aim can be adjusted at any time. While preparing the preparer cannot move at all.

Stage7 Jounin
Stage Description: Once again, the user focuses on creating a new technique specifically for himself/herself. This stage is focused totally on chakra control to help create a much more potent Specialization. Chakra control is often practiced through a combination of running up trees, running on water, and using kai. Because of these exercises, speed and the ability to break out of genjutsus is also improved.
Stage Powers: Increased chakra control leads to increased control over the chakrams when manipulating them with Reinforce. The increase in control is so great that now it is possible to control a pair of chakrams completely through Reinforce while wielding another pair with hands. If there is yet another pair of chakrams that can be controlled in some way other than hands or Reinforce, it is possible to have six pairs of chakrams in the battle at once. Speed and agility gain yet another increase. Two new specializations are learned.
Stage Jutsu:
Specialization 2- Depending on the user's primary element (medical and bloodline count), he/she can infuse their chakrams with the element to create an unique effect. The effect varies from person to person but it can only be one effect and it must be related to the user's primary element (no flaming chakrams when the main element is wind). The effect is considered a custom jutsu and has to registered in the custom jutsus thread. The second Specialization has to be a B-rank or lower.
Specialization 3- Depending on any of the user's elements (medical, demon, bloodline, and village elements count), he/she can infuse their chakrams with the chakra of one element to create an unique effect. The effect varies from person to person but it can only be one effect and it must be related to the element used (no flaming chakrams when the chakrams are infused with wind chakra). The effect is considered a custom jutsu and has to registered in the custom jutsus thread. The third Specialization has to be an A-rank or lower.

Stage8 Sannin
Stage Description: At this stage, everything and anything is trained. All of the fundamentals are reviewed and improved on. A good foundation is required to truly master a style, and this is what this stage endeavors to do. Of course, while it is a given that the basics should already be understood, this stage strives to go over and beyond with basics. Training in this stage often mimics the training in other stages, but with much more challenges and work.
Stage Powers: All of the main traits of the style are doubly improved. Speed is as fast as it could possibly be without tearing the limbs and muscles. The chakrams can be easily controlled in ways that would normally be considered impossible, both in the air and on the hands. The dexterity and speed of the fingers and arms is so great, that most people aren't even be able to tell that hand seals had been made. Even doujutsu users cannot read the hand seals, though they are able to tell when the hand seals are made. Balance rivals the balance that is granted by the Akira style.
Stage Jutsu:
Specialization 4- Depending on any of the user's elements (medical, demon, bloodline, and village elements count), he/she can infuse their chakrams with the chakra of one element to create an unique effect. The effect varies from person to person but it can only be one effect and it must be related to the element used (no flaming chakrams when the chakrams are infused with wind chakra). The effect is considered a custom jutsu and has to registered in the custom jutsus thread. The fourth Specialization has to be an S-rank or lower.
Specialization 5- Depending on any of the user's elements (medical, demon, bloodline, and village elements count), he/she can infuse their chakrams with the chakra of one element to create an unique effect. The effect varies from person to person but it can only be one effect and it must be related to the element used (no flaming chakrams when the chakrams are infused with wind chakra). The effect is considered a custom jutsu and has to registered in the custom jutsus thread. The fifth Specialization has to be an SS-rank or lower.

Name of weapon: Renzoku
User's Rank: Chuunin
Who owns the weapon: Kageko Uchiha
Where it was found/Who made it: As her second Key, Kageko has had Renzoku for as long as she could remember. Unlike Yin-Yang, though, she's only found out recently that it was even a weapon. She had always thought of Renzoku as a simple necklace of sorts seeing how she always kept it on her neck. In actuality, though, that was simply the Key's minimized form. How it managed to get like that, Kageko is completely clueless.
Users Class: Weapons Class
The Range of the weapon: As far as Kageko can control it. In terms of length, it's default form can extend up to 10 meters.
Weakness: Look at weaknesses for Nai clan.
Description: What seemed to be a chain-like necklace turned out to be a chain weapon that was actually something completely different. Other than its abilities, there are no defining features of Renzoku and it appears to be a regular chain for the most part.
Ability 0- Renzoku's real form is not that of a chain, but that of a thousand swords. At will, the chain links it is formed out of can separate and scatter to form a field of swords for use by its user. These swords are normal swords for the most part and do not have many of the abilities that Renzoku has in its chain form. They can, however, be controlled to gather around the user to reform the chain (stabbing anyone in their path in the process) and do deliver a painful (but harmless) shock to anyone who is not their owner and attempts to grab them. This splitting process takes an entire post, where Renzoku can't do anything but split and separate. However, it can still cause damage should it hit someone while using this skill.
Ability 1- Actually controlling the splitting process of Renzoku allows it to split into a multitude of sharp, thin chain links that can be controlled just like the chain itself. While they aren't strong individually and do not have much piercing ability, they can be dangerous in large amounts, which they are in. About a thousand separate, bladelike-shards (each the size of a senbon in terms of thickness but much more shorter in terms of length) are created by this technique and each has the same abilities (except for Maximize and Minimize) as the original weapon. This skill is used to both separate and connect Renzoku after it has been separated, requiring chakra to be used for both tasks. While reforming, it is possible to single out individual shards so that they remain separate from the chain.
Ability 2- Because Renzoku is a series of chain links, it can regenerate easier than other keys. By pumping chakra into it (C-rank amount to be exact) it is possible to completely fix Renzoku during the middle of a battle.
Ability 3- By wrapping itself around the user and then molding flat, Renzoku can become a flexible and resilient armor. Just as durable as it normally is and so light it feels like a part of one's skin, the armor covers the entire body save for small gaps at the joints which are required to move comfortably. While in this form, nothing related to void can be used on Renzoku unless the user wishes to severely harm (as in practically lose a limb) himself/herself. However, the armor can be manipulated to send out individual chains at the end.
Ability 4- (I'll figure this out later. That's alright, right?)
Ability 5- Exactly like Ability 0 in all but one aspect, the fifth ability splits Renzoku into numerous other weapons and uses chakra for both splitting up the Key and putting it back together. Unlike normal swords, though, the chains form into key-like blades that Kageko usually calls Keyblades for short. Sharp as any other sword, but only on the side that has metal parts resembling the ridges on a key jutting out, these blades aren't just a cosmetic effect. While Kageko still can't control them in most ways, there are now some ways that she can exploit. Specifically, she can use Warp, Call, Mold, Void Release, and Hide on one key at a time. Additionally, Kageko is able to use Warp two extra times with Renzoku when this ability is activated.
Rp Sample:
Kageko didn't like the situation she was in. Actually, she really didn't like any fighting situation that she was in, this one was no exception. Although, the fact that she was outnumbered 5 to 1 probably made it more annoying than the usual situations. "D-do we have to fight?" Kageko asked, knowing what the answer would be. Without so much as a nod or shake of the head, the other five shinobis attacked simultaneously. Quickly, Kageko backed away as the chain necklace she wore suddenly exploded, sending a barrage of shard-like chain links at the opponent. While they didn't do much damage, they were still dangerous if they hit the right spots, like the eyes.

As the enemy was distracted with protecting their weak points, Kageko took the chance to set the field a bit more to her advantage. While her enemies outnumbered her in terms of people, she doubt that they would be able to outnumber her in terms of weapons. Suddenly, the millions of shards turned into swords that settled themselves into various position on the ground: some were stabbed upright and other were lying on their sides, some were lying close and others were lying farther away.

As soon as they gained reprieve from the shards, the shinobis attacked, using the time that Kageko would be unable to use Renzoku thanks to its change to try and get at the girl. However, she managed to defend with her normal katana for the moment needed and by the time the opponents managed to knock it out of her hands, the girl had a whole field of katanas ready to replace it and that was just what she did. Reaching behind her and to her left side, the girl pulled up two katanas and blocked three of the attacks headed her way. As for the other two, she took them but didn't budge from her spot. Instead, she used the two katanas that she had just blocked with to attack the two that had attacked her while also moving out of reach of the other three….

Name of Weapon: Kageko's katana
History: Originally a normal katana (still is for the most part). It's simply been fine-tuned several times to match Kageko's usage. Kageko, in turn, has used the blade so much that she knows every aspect of it.
Range: Katana with an approximately 2 feet long blade.
Weakness: The katana is, in all aspects except for when it comes to how Kageko wields it, a normal katana. Therefore, it breaks just as easily and is just as defendable as a normal katana.
Description: Physically, it looks like a normal katana, mainly because it is a normal katana. While normal, though, the katana is the best of it's kind. The build is of high quality and it's obvious that the weapon has been carefully taken care of. A simple black hilt with the kanji for void inscribed on the bottom of the hilt are all that differentiate it from other well-made and well-cared for swords of its kind. There is a basic black hand guard that is circular in shape. The sword, to most, is just like any other sword. With no special abilities, it truly is like any other sword.
However, when Kageko in particular wields this specific katana, her familiarity with it and its familiarity with her give a large boost to her weapon proficiency. Rather than the normal one weapon style, she can use two weapon styles without any chakra cost as long as they can be used with the katana. The speed and cutting power of the katana is also increased by one when she uses it (ex: a offensive slash or a defensive block with the katana will both be one rank faster and stronger but Kageko's speed when running isn't increased). Because of this increase in speed and cutting power, the effectiveness of all weapon techniques performed by this katana are also increased one rank by default.

Rp Sample:
Kageko walked into the public dojo, bored. Taking up one of the default swords, she began going through some basic exercises with it. However, sooner rather than later, the girl put the sword back. It was a fine sword and she knew it would serve her well if she ever used it, but it wouldn't be her preferred choice.

Instead, Kageko pulled out of the sheath on her back her own sword. To most eyes, it would seem to be the same as the sword she had just put down. Experienced eyes would be able to tell that the sword was of much higher quality. However, only Kageko knew the sword's true worth. She had learned so many weapon styles through it, had trained with it so much. Swords were already simply just extensions of her body. This sword, though, had gone much farther. Kageko knew every aspect of the sword, it's weight and balance, it's strong points and weak points. Being as close to this sword as she was, it would come as no surprise that the sword she had tried to wield at first wasn't her "preferred choice."

The girl took another ready stance in the dojo, and went through the series of basic steps once more. This time, her movements were more fluid and precise. Her blade whipped out and back in with amazing speed and force. Kageko's body as a whole didn't seem much changed at all. This sword simply capitalized on the way she naturally fought, just as Kageko simply capitalized on how her sword was meant to strike.
