i'm looking to start a hard rock band and am looking for players with simular interest and simular insirations. advice? candidates?

If your starting a band, then you might want to think about how you and your players will get along. You don't want to break up after the first couple of practices. :[

And make sure they'll survive if you guys make it big. :]

And tell me when you think of a name. I want to know. Sounds interesting.

thats the thing i'm a bassist and my brother is quite possibly the drummer. i'm looking for a guitarist thats not an a*****e or a good vocalist. either will do. this is a side project from my other band. it's metal (i hate metal!)

Also Tip: Be creative, don't try to sound like any one, just do your own thing.

I really like bass. It's one of my favorite instruments. :]
My friend plays bass, and I really want to learn how to play it.

It depends on where you guys are located, I know this girl who'll kill to get into a band. I believe she's learning guitar, and from what I heard she's a good vocalist.
