Holding my hand in yours,

I never thought this would wither.

After you left you killed me,
I had no clue what was happening,
My heart was taking its toll,
And in my chest was a huge hole.

I'm always trying to keep it together,
Always staring off at the broken flower,
Keeping my hands in the sweater pockets,
And against my skin jumped the cold lockets,

All sorts of question fan through my mind,
Why did I think that you were one of a kind,
Why would you leave so suddenly,
How you do this without telling me?

Since it seems like I'll never let you go,
