When Hikari releases her zanpakuto it tranforms into two elegant fans. The fan are very strong as compared to normal fans. They seem delicate to the opponent making him overconfident and overestimate his chances. The fans have bladed edges that can be quite deadly. Hikari can control and manipulate wind with her zanpakuto.

Shikai Abilities:
1. She can control the air around her opponent and is able to lift him into the air rendering him unable to use his powers and control his actions.
2. She can use her fan to create a wind shield around her, blocking all physical attacks.
3. The fan enlarge allowing her to ride on them.

The two fans transform into one large fan with swords serving as edges on both sides. One side of the fan depicts the Sun and the other the Moon.
Bankai Ability/ Attacks:
Creates two dragons formed of wind. With the power to destroy at a long range.
A swing of the fan causes a large amount of wind to come out with the ability to blow away buildings.
The huge fan also serves as a shield against physical attacks.
Personality:
Hikari is very kind and gentle. She dislikes conflict and battle. She is very friendly and becomes friends with almost everyone almost instantly.
She can be a bit lazy when it comes to paperwork, putting it off till the last minute.
She values the opinions of her squad very much. Extremely loyal to her squad and the gotei 13, she hates the arrancar for trying to ruin the peace of sereitei.
She cannot tolerate irresponsibility and undisciplined behavior.
Though she likes fun scenarios, still she would prefer peace and quite most of the time.

Bio History:
-before death-
Hikari died in a fatal accident. When her school bus plunged into the river on a field trip. It was said that none of the students survived. Hikari still remembers flashes of that incident, screams of children and the feeling of running out of air, gasping for breath still haunt her dreams. She hopes that all of her friends reached soul society too and sometimes tries to search for them too but has not found anyone yet.
Bieng drowned to death is also one of the reasons that she has a wind type zanpaktou and has a fear of deep water.

Hikari like many others was born in the Rukongai area. Luckily she found some good friends. They would stick together at all times and help each other in need.
All of her friends was fascinated with being a shinigami and so they decided to sneak into the seireitei. Using their incredible abilities they somehow managed to enter seireitei but were found by some 4 division members while cleaning the underground sewage pipes. The 4 division members took them to the then captain of squad 4, who was surprised at the fact that they had managed to enter soul society so easily and decide to perform some tests to determine their abilities.
The captain saw great talents and potential in the young children who were scared out of their wits on what would happen to them now. One of Hikari's friend was very much interested in healing and medical stuff and watched with great care on how she did. the 4th division captain could clearly see that these children wanted to become shinigami's and were determined to learn. The 4th division captain was quite pleased and fascinated by the skills of these young lings and how much they could do is they were just taught the right stuff and if they worked hard on their skills.
She enrolled them into the shinigami academy, giving them special attention. Hoping that someday they would become a great asset to soul society. Hikari is very much indebted to her today, as it was due to that captain that they were here today instead of living a miserable life back at Rukongai.
After graduating from the shinigami academy, all of them were assigned different squads. They were not given very high ranks at once but they were still content. Visiting each other whenever they could get a chance. The arrancar menace grew and one of their friends got killed on the battle field. All of them mourned his death for a long time, determined to take revenge for him. They all worked hard to reach the highest rank possible. The dream came true for Hikari at last when she became the captain of the sixth squad.
