Nah, if we were a full on Democracy then Bush would have never been president o_o Since Al Gore DID have the majority vote population wise. But.. yeah.. we're more like a republic based in feudalism. Blah blah blah. *learned all this in Political Science* I agree though, I'd move out of the country too.. to Canada, England, or France.

I would move to Japan >.> yeah Oligarchy = elite group is in control
for us... it's the Rich/ well educated... a bum wouldn't have a chance running for public office, even if his morals were pure ||
feudalism the power is split between states or territories, which we have national power and local (state) power ||
we are democratic because we get to vote on things and we are republic because we have Representation of our states at a national level ||

Democracy is only truly used by those who belive in it even though thats pretty obvious think about it you can have a president or priminester queen or king the question is even if it says on your countrys laws that it is a democracy does the leader belive in it when it is inconvent? it depends on the person they think to themselves is it worth it sacrefivcing my peoples ideals just for this job? yes? or no? both answers have been shown in history..................

Everywhere is full of ignorance. No country is fully non-ignorant, it's just how things work. I mean hey, even Japan is ignorant and some Japanese are xenophobic too. Some more so because Japan is more recent and other history.
All countries have their ups and downs.
