With one last stroke of the brush, and completing one last symbol, Division Thirteen's weekly captain report was finished. With a great sigh of relief, Captain Tsugamashi slouched back in his chair and set the brush next to the stack of papers he had been working on. To say that he enjoyed writing the report would be far from the truth. In his opinion, anyone who enjoyed the job should be put away for psychotic endangerment.
After taking a moment to let off some of the stress which had built up, Magaru stood up, straitened the papers of his report, and walked to his living quarters. Espying a katana leaning against the far wall, he strode over and lifted it up. As always, his eye was caught by the dragon wing guard of the sword, a dragon's head set just below it in the scabbard. He admired it a moment longer before fastening his Zanpakuto to the belt around his waist.
Hurrying now, he grabbed a small traveling bag, and proceeded to gather into it two small cups, a brush, a stopper of ink, and several sheets of blank parchment. Just before leaving the room, he reached for a tall, corked bottle with a tight strap about it from a nearby shelf. It wasn't until the bottle was hanging from his wrist that he felt complete, and was ready to leave.
Armed with his assortment of necessities, Magaru exited the Captain's Quarters, shutting the door behind him. He started across the Division Thirteen grounds, idly observing several members of his squad training, before leaving the area entirely. He forged along, his destination being the gates leading to the Rukongi.
