I'm on my second Prestige, level... 65, I think? I just unlocked the RPG-7, so whatever level that is.
I want the next custom class, but I hate loosing all the weapons I worked for just to start over at the beginning again. And it takes so long to get to the later levels, and I have always Prestiged shortly after getting the chance to, so I don't even get much play time with the 1887s, RPG, AK, etc.
But it feels like all the time I'm at level 70 and playing, every kill I get essentially earns me nothing.
What are you guys' thoughts on this?
I'd like to get the higher-level camos on some weapons, but as long as another Prestige is available, I wonder what the point is in that, if I'll always find myself discarding it.

Well. It all depends on if you REALLY want the titles, camos, and classes. Also, it could help you improve your game. Practice does make close to perfect! I guess it all depends on if you wanna "start all over" again.
Try unlocking ALL attachments on your guns. You get like 10k points for every one you unlock all attachments with. Also, try using one gun alot and getting a TON of kills. When you unlock the kill rewards (kill 500, 1000, or so many head shots ect) you get a lot of points too.
Me personally, I think Im only going to once to just get "My Lil pawny" or whatever that title is. Lol. Wanted that since I saw it. ^_^ I had to start over with out Prestiging cause I was using a friends Xbox when I started playing MW2... got to level 40 some and got my own Xbox and had to start allllll over again with NOTHING and no prestige. That was annoying. xp So it was like ive Prestiged.. but didnt get anything! D :

well it only matters if ur good with the low rank weapons cuz if u r good with them u will rank up really fast and if ur not the u will go slowly and u wil;ll get frustrated of not having the high rank weapons again :l

I haven't Prestiged at all myself. Whenever I get all the callsigns, and such, for everything then I'll go through Prestige levels and complete them.
