Shikai Ability/ Attacks:
The zanpakutou becomes of a bright blue color due the electrical power that runs through it. This gives the katana a high power and makes it able to cut better things. Also when it touch with something it will give medium electrical shock.
1st attack: When Raijin strikes the zanpakutou on the floor, within a circle of 15 meters, the floor becomes unstable with electrical power. If anyone touches the ground within that area they will get hurt by the electricity.
2nd attack: Raijin points the end of its zanpakutou towards the opponent and let his reiatsu flow to the zanpakutou. After that a quick flow of electricity exist the end of the blade towards the opponent. That bolt only goes on a straight direction; it doesn’t change its trajectory.

Bankai Ability/ Attacks:
Eight symbols appear around Raijin and two lightening bolts on his hands instead of a regular zanpakutou. The Bankai only get’s off when Raijin his almost dying, when the eight symbols disappear ( for lack of reiatsu, or if the enemy destroys them) or when he calls it off.
When Raijin calls his Bankai black clouds appear above him like in a thunderstorm. Rain starts falling and electicity can be felt over the air around him. This rain extends for 5km from the spot where the Bankai was called out.
The eight symbols: The symbols will disappear with time. (They will work as Itsugaya’s ice crystals: when they end the Bankai goes off meaning Raijin doesn’t have enough reiatsu to use it anymore).
They protect Raijin creating a shield of lighting around him for physical attacks. The enemy would be repealed when using hand-to-hand combat against Raijin.
One symbol will disapear after two lightning bolts have been shot, or if Raijin has been severally wounded.
When using the lightning bolts on his hands for hand-to-hand combat the symbols will not dissapear so quickly.
Thanks to the water from the rain, also created by the Bankai, Raijin can use his power to a bigger extend. The bolts he has on both hands send thunder waves towards the opponent and this thunder waves are magnified by the water they find in the way. He can also use them as regular zanpakutou that will have a more powerful cutting ability.

Biography
Raijin belonged to an very important clan. The Hayabusa clan. He never liked his parents because they were always acknowledging his older brother for his good work on Sereitei. He never heard a word from his parents about him and so it was like they had never existed on his life. The only person who showed some feeling for him was his brother Ryu.
Raijin had always been good at the Shinigami academy, the brightest student of his year and in his second year of academy he was invited to become part of the Gotei 13 as third seat. He waited some more years in order to enter with a higher position, and he did it. Third seat wasn’t bad at all but again with his parents always falling upon him he did it.
After he entered to the Gotei 13 his brother died in duty. It was like hundreds of swords had cut his hearth. His brother was the only person he talked with since he had joined his Squad. Raijin noticed that Ryu’s fiancé was, as well, very disturbed with his brother’s death so he asked for a transfer to join as Squad 1 Lieutenant. She was physically strong, Raijin was also physically strong but they were both mentally death and he wanted to share his sadness with someone and he wanted that Kasumi also shared her sadness with him. They were both down in the dumps and depressed with Ryu’s death.
His brother’s death was not enough to bring his parents love again. They went to his funeral but they didn’t even notice Raijin’s presence.
From that on Raijin swore that he would find the ones responsible for his brother’s death and kill them, he would only become powerful to kill them and he would do anything to finish them off for sure!
