† Caelum †
Caelum sat in his chair, his nose buried in a comical book about a boy who made it his business to see how well he could get over others. It was a foolish book really, and Caelum, for the life of him, could not understand humor or the point of the book. However he continued to read the book, determined to find where the humor in the book lay. He tilted the chair back lightly, causing the little piece of furniture tilt back on two legs and lean against the edge of his unique bed. He leafed through the book, his crimson eyes sliding left and right over the page as he read, the little ink letters forming words before his eyes and being absorbed into his brain as the story unfolded.
The light of the ever present moon flooded in through his open window, filling the room with its silvery light giving the room an almost dreamlike appearance as everything was bathed in the cool silver-white light. What was it outside? I Gibbous moon? Or was it a crescent? Caelum couldn't remember, and at the moment, he could care less, he was far too busy focusing on the foolishness in the book. And so it was that unknown to Caelum, something was about to begin....
