Hey, my teacher wants me to come up with some more concerti and sonatas to play for my junior recital??? which I thought was optional in place of a senior recital (Wow, I better not blow it.)
Anyway, I need ideas. Any violin sonatas or concerti, preferably late romantic to contemporary (1970's) pieces. I thought of Philip Glass, Kabalewski, and Elgar, but nothing has wowed me. But
It's a bonus if you can find a composer who isn't French or Italian. (That's all I'm playing and I'm in dire need of a change of scenery)
Thanks in Advance.

Have you heard about Wieniawski? His works for violin are great, but very difficult, though.
