A Heads-up: Hacking Programs

[Oblivious Mischief]

When I was browsing through the guild forums, a pop-up appeared claiming that they are an anti-bot application created by gaiaonline and that since I am browsing the site "too fast", they will have to ask for my username and password.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD TO THIS ONE

You can just click the close button (the x button) in the upper right corner of the app and you can continue with your browsing as if nothing happened.

This goes out to those who are not familiar with this type of scam. Please always bear in mind that gaiaonline will never ask for your username and password.

On another note, if anything of the same nature is happening on your end of your PC in this guild forum, please post them here to warn the others.

Yeah I got that one as well.. I'd only clicked one thing so how was I loading pages too quickly? How stupid do they think we are?

..I'm stupid enough to fall into it. Stupid me. I still have my stuff though, I changed it all. ..Hence the username change. ^^;; But, I kinda like this name anyways.
