"Elizabeth?"
The voice seemed far away to her ears.
It had a fatherly warmth, but was slightly stern too.
"Elizabeth?"
She turned her head. She smiled automatically, the cool, sterile white of the room was bright to her newly awake eyes and he almost blended in.
"Good morning, Elizabeth. Sleep well?" His smile was as white as his lab coat, he looked like what Elizabeth had always imagined a father would. His chestnut hair was slightly wavy with tiny streaks of gray through it, making Elizabeth think of an old horse.
"Very well, Matt. What do I learn today?" She tilted her head, her brain unsure what expression to use.
Matt smiled softly at her.
"You're going to meet someone very special. Your sister."
Elizabeth nit her brows and frowned in confusion.
"But, I don't have a sister. You said so, Matt. Nor do I have a mother, father or brother." Her English was perfect, but slightly awkward. She sounded slightly pretentious.
Matt nodded.
"We made one for you. To help develop your empathy."

She was beautiful. She had honey colored hair, a slender figure, and rosy lips.
Her perfect gray eyes and tan skin where a sharp contrast to Elizabeth's dark hair and pale skin.
"Her name is Mary." Matt said, watching Elizabeth closely.
"We based her on the style in the early two-thousands."
Elizabeth nodded.
"Then, what did you base me on?" She asked quietly.
"A porcelain doll found in the Tokyo wreckage." Matt placed a hand on Elizabeth's
shoulder.
"But what is she?" Elizabeth asked intently.
"A new human. Just like you."
