The order of the hearts doesn't have to be followed step by step... here are the cans and can'ts of the heart meter.

~You may start someone off with a blue or purple heart if that person calls you out by name as if you already knew each other. You cannot start off a person with a blue or purple heart if you have no knowledge of the person.

~You can go from purple to yellow or blue to yellow! You don't have to be friends or best friends with a person to for a crushing heart. You cannot form a black heart to a crush heart though. (Sorry, no loves at first sight.)

~You can go through the meter at your own pace. However, it is unreasonable to go to a black heart to a orange heart (for example) in a matter of a day. If confused about appropriate heart jumping, think about time and if you were put in that situation or pm me for questions.

~To develop that orange heart into a marriable red heart, it's gonna take time. If after one kiss you think your character is ready for red, think again. You must wait a Harvest Moon week for the time to be appropriate. (Even a week is being easy on everyone and unrealistic, so be grateful.)

~You can have multiple red hearts, but that red heart must go down to green once you choose to marry someone. For example: Billy loves Gretta and Gwen, yet they both have red hearts. He chooses Gwen over Gretta, so now Gretta and Billy must lower her heart to a green heart between each other.

So it seems Spring is finally here once again. I'm so happy that the days are getting longer and warmer, and seeing the flowers and all the other beautiful things Spring brings just warms the soul. This is why I love Rosebud Town. I believe it is time for me to start bringing out all the spring clothes I have been working on for the past week now. I really think everyone will love all of the clothes. I worked hard. I think I will need to do a little shopping before actually opening up the shop at Noon. Maybe I will stop at the library to return the book I finished up last night. We will see if I have enough time this morning.

It's getting warmer now, and were heading out of Winter and into Spring. Although I love the ice cold snow and being able to play in the snow, It's so beautiful to see the flowers bloom in the Morning Spring. And it's almost my birthday, I'm not really expecting anything this year either. Sense the past few years nothing really big happend either. Well,except the Flower Festival. Thats one of the things I love about my birthday, that I was born on the day of the Flower Festival. But not many people know it's my birthday. Only about the Flower Festival. But oh well, atleast I get to spend the Flower Festival with the towns people here. I know! I'll make everyone some energy juice for that day! Just to show how much I care about everyone <3 I'll have to get alot of herbs for that then. Hopefully I don't pass out from exhaustion, that'll be embarassing sense I'm the Nurse. I'll start as soon as possible!

Entry one

The days are getting warmer and longer....Wonderful as if I'm not working in onehundred degree tempratures already. My job is only going to get harder now that everyone is going to be working the fields and breaking tools and other items, I hate spring and summer so much altough it's strange, I was born in summer but I can't stand warm weather...ah well no sence in complaining all day in this journal of mine. I saw a falcon today he looked so free and carefree and it seemed that he was looking at my shop but I couldn't be sure.

Well...I...hmm...it's been so long since I wrote in one of these...well...so far Rosebud Town has been quite accommodating. Even though I have only been here a few months I feel that I belong here. The weather has finally turned warmer meaning I can go out for more walks...I think I'll go up to the mountains. After I should really pratice my music; wouldn't want to get out a pratice!

Alright! Spring is here! That means that I can stay outside longer! That also means work is going to start picking up cause it's easier to build things in the Spring than it is during Winter. I think I'll bake something for the townsfolk to celebrate the beginning of Spring.
