I love the show Family Guy.
I know quite a lot of people seem to hate the show, or think it's stupid. But ... it makes me giggle. It's so silly.

I'm one of the ones who think it's stupid. I find it a pale copy of the Simpsons. But to each their own. Were you thinking of a specific episode? I've seen quite a lot of it, despite not really liking it. It always seems to be on when I need white noise. confused

I was actually never a fan of the Simpsons. The animation scared me when I was younger. Somehow Family Guy always appealed to me more.

I was actually watching the "Something, Something, Something Darkside" Family Guy-Star Wars movie when I wrote this thread.

please tell me you were watching the full, uncut version. The cut version has all of the best scene cut out.

I never saw all of that. I got bored and wandered off. xd I guess FamGuy could be seen as more realistic as far as the animation goes, but I still find Simpsons more realistic as far as psychology, behavior, and physics.

But I missed it on TV.
(that is if the one on TV was the uncut version)

Well, the episodes we have on DVD are uncut. But, the ones that come on television are censored and cut. We do not have cable.

What I hate is when both the TV AND the DVD version are censored and cut.

We're being force fed crap from both ends.

I know you were probably expecting this, dude, but I have to object to your choice of words. It's not "force feeding" because you're not forced to watch, read, collect, listen to, or whatever anything. Yes, most censorship is pointless and annoying, but as the consumer, you can vote with your money and refuse to participate.

Like fan-subs of the originals ^.^
(in the case of anime)

As for other shows, you can only wait for the uncut version... if one ever appears.
