i'd like to see a nintendo themed RTS, like a command and conquer type of deal.

Vocoder play with an instrument and a microphone in rockband 3.

Except it really doesn't matter, because rockband's singing is pitch based, and a vocoder does that for you.

It'd be cool to hear your voice play back auto-tuned, though.
