The title pretty much says it all. People who have experienced some form of brain damage, tumor removal is the example they give, tend to become more spiritual.
Now, I've long been on the "God Gene" bandwagon, but I only whispered, among fellow Atheists mind you, that dysfunctional brain activity contributes to religious fervency. After this article, I may not whisper so quietly anymore. ninja
