In the early 80's it was Duran Duran and Kajagoogoo that I couldn't get enough of.

By the late 80's I was finally old enough to get in to see live shows in my area. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Bim Skala Bim, Belly, Powerman 5000, and so many more bands were ones I went to see over and over again. My favorite was called Think Tree. They've since broken up, but some of the original members are still making music under the name Count Zero.

I also listened to House of Pain, Cypress Hill, Andreas Vollenweider, Dio, and Ozzy.

For some reason, I mostly remember the Spice Girls, Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, N*Sync (and my cousins got me in the 'boy band' war), and that irritated me, and my mom forbid us from listening to any good music, so I raided my dad's music collection.
