Kuzodav 8-bit Jazzy Oh no! Is your face huge now? It sounds like a cool (if painful) experience. And you have to take that weird drug as well, no? My dentist said I'll never have to get mine taken out. mrgreen Nope! My cheeks are only ever so slightly swollen, the only difference is that i can't see my facial hair sideburns, which are short, anyway. I have to take an antibiotic, and some painkillers. Ah. xd I thought that right after getting them pulled, you'd need to take the same drug as the kid in the "is this real life?" video.

Got 'em removed 30 min ago. I was pretty relieved that I didn't feel anything at all after I got the infusion, except for the pressure and the occasional pinch.
What was worse than pain was the sound of my teeth being cracked to bits and broken out of my jaw. I guess my brain just refused to accept that the procedure didn't hurt and made the pain up for me.

Wait, so Renz, they didn't put you under? Now I feel like a p***y for getting knocked out.
Not because I suddenly became more uncomfortable with hands in my mouth, but because I realized I'd be under laughing gas for an HOUR... And time is really slow like that.

I have all 4 wisdom teeth sort of out. The ones in my bottom jaw just kinda stopped growing out with some gum still covering bits of them... I hope I don't have to have them pulled out. D: Anyways, I have to have braces starting next week. Fun. As if I didn't seem nerdy enough without them.

What about the clear braces? do those work?
Also, your wisdom teeth may be overcrowding or impacted.
The first can cause enamel loss(leads to several problems, like sensitivity and rot), and the second can rot under the skin.
You need a dentist to tell you whether they're fine or not.

I have a rotten taste in my mouth.
I'm trying to counter it with strong tasting foods.
Geek hummus anyone?

[Kegan] I have a rotten taste in my mouth. I'm trying to counter it with strong tasting foods. Geek hummus anyone? That's not how you get the rotten taste out of your mouth. That usually means that food is stuck in the sockets, and you need to get it out with water or something.

I rinse regularly.
The taste is that of dead blood, which is still oozing just a bit.

Even if there isn't food in there, sometimes rinsing isn't enough. I had to use a little syringe-type thing to get the food out of my EMPTY SOCKETS. I'm not saying you have food in there, I'm just saying in case the bad taste persists.

They won't be giving me a little syringe until the second week.
