This prison was constructed on the very top floor of the castle for one reason: To contain high priority prisoners. The royal family was captured and housed here. It's even worse then the normal prison. Food is horrible, water almost always has little bugs swimming around in it, walls are almost always slick with blood. You never want to end up here, trust me.

"hm, what punishment should I give today, Food poisoning, stretching, or burning, yes I think I'll use burning today."
He made his hand catch on fire and placed his mark on each of them.
"there, that's your torture for today blah blah blah, see you tomorrow."
