It's weird because my uncle's death is the only one I dream about. I've had a lot of family members die in the past 10 years and I never dream about any of them. (@_@) ...I don't think you ever really 100% get over someone dying. It's really all just about how people cope with it.
Some people are too obsessive, they stop their entire life just because someone died. To me, that's dumb. You can't give up on everything just because someone is gone. But, feeling pain or having dreams about the person, or even the event in which they died ...I don't see any problem with it. Somethings haunt people a lot deeper.

I do not think that getting over something would make you "unemotional" ...I just think that some things are easier to get over than others. You can still have emotions over it, just maybe not to the extreme you have them. Dude is right, you can have one without the other.
