What did you get Grandma for Christmas?

We all got them. Grandma's!

sweet kisses way too much candy and $14 personal checks every birthday.
For the woman who loves you more then hugs kisses and her denture creme. What do you give her for Christmas?

MAybe your grandma is passed away maybe she is on her way to your house with footy pajama's as we speak!

Grandma's love us all year long living or not.

So give Grandma a lil sumthin sumthin. And more then that let her know how special she is.


I have 1 passed away grandma and 1 still alive.
Dead grandma gets prayers and I burn her favorite candle and make sure to eat Tamales!

Live grandma. Well she get's pictures from my childhood. Sadly we only recently found each other again after 24 years of being apart. The best gift you can give or receive in that situation is the love you have been waiting to feel all the years before.

My neighbor, may she rest in peace, I consider my surrogate grandma. She didn't have any children of her own so she enjoyed my company every afternoon. She was kind, friendly, and caring. Everyone in the neighborhood came to her kitchen to chat and ask for advice on life. She didn't have much money so every Christmas she would make a box of home made candies and cookies for every family. She was the best damn chef I ever met and will probably never meet another of her caliber. She died pretty young from dialysis.

Both my granmas are alive, fortunately (one of them even reached 100 years of age in 2010).
Since here it's summer I bought both of them lovely summer hats ^^
