Sophrosyne Noun (Suh-fros-uh-nee)
1. moderation; discretion; prudence.
So why do we continue to set ourselves the Herculean task of total self-denial, abnegation and avoidance instead of practising that other ancient Greek model of sophrosyne --temperance, prudence and self-control? Why cut out when we can simply cut down?

SraMoL ChHLoh MuoY Bisque: noun -a rich, creamy soup typically made with shellfish, especially lobster. i fooled my snobby friend into thinking i had created an excellent bisque, and i got her to try it and she loved about it and raved about it to her friends! here is the secret recipe: four cans of spicy chili with no beans, in a slow cooker with four blocks (standard packages) of cream cheese. Set on midrange for one hour, stir, then low for one hour, then stir and serve. If she never views gaia, she shall never learn of my deception.
