The time has come to tell you.
To tell you why I've bee inactive.
I've been inactive without choice.
Without choice, my laptop died.

You could get a cheapy netbook if you have the money. Sucks though.

that is BALLS  i kinda know the feeling, i had to reinstall everything again awhile back, thats about as close as i've come to losing a PC. what happened? it just up and quit one day?

My battery wouldn't hold a charge. So, I had to keep it plugged in.
Now, when I turn it on, my buttons flash, but my screen doesn't turn on.

if you know someone with the know how, once you get a new computer, you could ask them if they have a HDD USB cord, then you can just pull off what you need.
