That's odd. I'll have to go read my legit Action Comics #1 to see...

I think it's interesting how most/all superheros from the Golden Age of Comics started out fighting Nazis during the 1940s.

Ugh, I wouldn't call it interesting. Even Sherlock Holmes had a bunch of movies where he fought Nazis. xp I'm a huge Holmes fan, and even I couldn't stand those.

Simple really...

To get people interrested in their comics, they tried to make the story relavent to current events.

Franctly stories about either world war bore that crap out of me.
It's been so overdone, that there's really nothing left to tell.

Unless you told it from the OTHER sides perspective.
Now THAT would be unique. (though probably just as boring)

But unfortunately the super insane "america rules, everyone else sucks" - "if you'r not a warmonger, you're a nazi" extremists would probably whine about it corrupting our society. (not that it's not already gone down the crapper)

Either way, the only thing that makes fighting nazis interresting, is if you through in vampires. AKA: BloodRayne ^.^ LOL (yeah, I know I'm biased) ^^;
