"I got my tattoo from this old troll of a man in the Hot Plates. Hurt like hellfire, but I had enough rum to endure it. I have to say, he was as skilled as he was unpleasant. But even as much as I wanted to be identified then, it worked too well. Now if any soldier saw even a glimpse of my side, it's an instant death sentence for me, and a fat purse for him. Not bad for one drunken night."

I've just started reading and looking through your work. I really enjoy it thus far! And as a side note, the last picture you posted brought back memories of a slightly similar conversation I once had with a doctor.

Pfft. Doctors--they think they know everything! mrgreen I'm glad you like it. My partners and I are trying to get the comic off the ground, but we're all so busy. razz These little one-pagers are all I can manage at the moment.

You know how to tell a story and your artwork is amazing. smile Thanks. smile My partners and I are trying to turn this into a real web comic, but being 1200 miles apart and all of us having full time lives really bites into collaboration time. So far, bits and pieces that are out of order are really all we can come up with. razz When we finally get things together, I'm totally posting our success EVERYWHERE! So hopefully you'll enjoy the full comic too. smile

So far, bits and pieces that are out of order are really all we can come up with. razz When we finally get things together, I'm totally posting our success EVERYWHERE! So hopefully you'll enjoy the full comic too. smile Goodness that does sound like quite the challenge (both the distance issue and the full time lives). At least you can promote it and tease the audience a bit, whetting their appetite for more. I certainly look forward to reading the full web-comic one day. ^_^
