Mokuton: Shibu Shuriken [Wood Release: Branch Shuriken]

Zadok sat down and crossed his legs as he closely studied the the Branch Shuriken jutsu on the scroll that he received from his sensei. He was eager to learn all the jutsu on this list and start creating jutsu of his own. After sometime of closely reviewing the jutsu, Zadok was ready to try it. So Zadok put the scroll away and stood up, preparing himself mentally to make his first attempt. [1/3]

Zadok got to his feet and took a deep breath as he slowly performed the necessary handsigns to perform the jutsu properly. Zadok then focused his chakra as he spoke.
"Mokuton: Shibu Shuriken [Wood Release: Branch Shuriken]"
At that moment a branch slowly broke through the concrete flooring. Zadok continued to focus as the branch swung towards the wall but nothing came off the branch. So Zadok released the jutsu and the branch went back into the ground.[2/3]

Zadok was so eager that it was only a matter of minutes before he was ready to try again. Zadok again made the necessary handsigns, but this time he focused a lot harder and spoke.
"Mokuton: Shibu Shuriken [Wood Release: Branch Shuriken]."
At that moment a branch rose up from the ground not far from the hole where Zadok made his previous attempt. The branch then swung in the direction of the wall closest to him and bits and pieces of bark were released from the branch and the formed into a total of 8 shuriken which spun violently through the air and then they dug into the wall almost like normal shuriken would. Mokuton: Moku Bunshin [Wood Release: Wood Clone]

Zadok was now ready for his second jutsu as he took the scroll out once more and read the details for the Wood Clone jutsu which he was now going to learn. This jutsu seemed particularly neat to him when he read up on it, seeing the perks which this jutsu carried. Again Zadok put the scroll away, remembering as much as he could, and then readied himself to attempt the jutsu. [1/3]

Zadok spaced his legs apart and crouched a little bit as he started to focus his chakra intensely as he slowly formed the necessary handsigns. At this same moment he said,
"Mokuton: Moku Bunshin [Wood Release: Wood Clone]"
After saying the jutsu name, a clone of Zadok slowly started to form out of the ground beside Zadok. This clone was made out of wood instead of water like the last clone he made. But this clone was unable to finish forming so it just looked like a large chunk of wood. [2/3]

Zadok then released the jutsu and the large chunk of wood just stood there. Zadok walked away from the failed clone and into a more open space. Zadok then repeated the process which he had done earlier, except this time he put more chakra into the jutsu and he intended to switch things up a little.
"Mokuton: Moku Bunshin [Wood Release: Wood Clone]."
Zadok said as he continued to focus. This time instead of the clone forming from the floor, the clone started to form from the left side of Zadok's back. After a couple of seconds the clone had separated from Zadok and it was now it's own being. Zadok turned to the clone and smiled as he said,
"You handsome b***h!"
After saying this, Zadok made the clone transform in a pill, which he stored away in his ninja pouch for later use. [3/3]

Mokuton: Moku Kawarimi no Jutsu [Wood Release: Wood Replacement Skill]

Zadok pulled out the mokuton scroll again and read over the jutsus again to decide which jutsu he was going to learn next. It wasn't a very hard decision because the only other gennin ranked jutsu was Wood Replacement Skill. He took note of the similarity between this just and the other replacement jutsu. [1/3]

Zadok felt as if this jutsu would be a piece of cake for him since he already knew the normal replacement jutsu, but this would be entirely different. So Zadok made the necessary handsigns and started to focus his chakra as he said.
"Moku Kawarimi no Jutsu [Wood Release: Wood Replacement Skill]"
At this there was a puff of smoke, and as the smoke cleared, Zadok could be seen standing in the same position he was not too long ago, with a wooden dummy laying on the floor beside him. Zadok had made the dummy but didn't get the chance to substitute himself. [2/3]

Zadok was sure that he was going to get it right this time. So Zadok repeated the same process which he performed earlier, but this time he focused a lot harder so that he could do everything he had to do in the blink of an eye. As he completed the handsigns he spoke,
"Moku Kawarimi no Jutsu [Wood Release: Wood Replacement Skill]."
Again there was a puff of smoke. As it cleared, all that could be seen was the wooden dummy laying on the floor as Zadok appeared beside his sensei.
"Pretty good huh?"
Zadok said with a smile as he got ready for his next jutsu.

Zadok again had taken a breather. This training was really taking it's toll on him. Zadok slowly got to his feet as he pulled the mokuton scroll from his ninja pouch which was located at his left butt cheek. Zadok had now decided that he was going to learn Wood Release: Wood Armor. This jutsu was going to be extremely hard for him to learn, probably the hardest he would learn since he begun his training. [1/11]

Zadok had to take his time with this one. This was not going to be a piece of cake. So he studied the scroll for a good couple of minutes. After this period of time Zadok decided that he would finally attempt the jutsu. So Zadok slowly and carefully formed the necessary handsigns, trying his best not to make any mistakes.
"Moku no Yoroi [Wood Release: Wood Armor]" [2/11]

After saying the name of the jutsu, Zadok held the last handsign in the sequence and started to focus his chakra as best as he could. After a couple of seconds, it could be seen that would started to grow around Zadok's feet. The wood was growing very slowly but it was however making progress in its growth. [3/11]

Zadok had his eyes shut tight as he concentrated harder and harder. It got to the point where you could a see a bead of sweet falling down the side of his face. He was really trying to push this jutsu, because he knew how vital it was to learn this jutsu if he was to last against an opponent who specialized in taijutsu. [4/11]

The wooden armor had now reached his mid thigh region. Zadok was now shaking a little bit because of how much concentration and effort he was putting into this jutsu. The wooden armor had reached the top of his thigh at this point, and Zadok decided that he would have to stop this jutsu and then start over. [5/11]

So with this plan in mind, Zadok released the jutsu and the armor fell off of Zadok's legs. So Zadok stepped away from the pieces of wooden armor on the ground so that they wouldn't his movement in any way. Zadok needed to try and close in on the thing that was causing him to be unsuccessful with the learning of this jutsu, so again he pulled the scroll out and started to examine the details of this jutsu. [6/11]

After he had finished examining the details of this jutsu, Zadok put the scroll back into his ninja pouch. He was now ready to try again. So Zadok slowly performed the handsigns again and began his concentration once more. He was now determined to get the jutsu right this time. [7/11]

"Moku no Yoroi [Wood Release: Wood Armor]!"
Zadok shouted as he started to focus his chakra into the jutsu. He was trying his best to get a good balance of spiritual and physical chakra so that the jutsu would come out properly and not turn out to be a flop like his previous attempt. So again the wooden armor started to grow from his feet again. [8/11]

Zadok was really putting a great amount of effort into this jutsu. It was turning out to be just the pain in the a** that Zadok had expected it to be. This jutsu was really giving him a run for his money. Zadok continued to hold the final handsign in the jutsu as he kept on pushing. Trying his best to maintain the balance of spiritual and physical chakra, because this is what he assumed caused him to fail in his earlier effort. [9/11]

Zadok was again sweating under the pressure of this jutsu. It was really burning him out, he didn't know how long he could hold this out for. 'Zadok, calm down you can do this, you can do this!'[/i] Zadok thought to himself, encouraging himself. Right now it was his will power and determination that was keeping him going at this point. The wooden armor was now above his hip, Zadok had made a whole lot of progress. And he wasn't about to turn back and start all over again. [10/11]

"Aaaaaggghhhh!!!!"
Zadok screamed out as he was making his final push into this jutsu. He was gonna get it now for sure. He was going all out now, his face was sweating, his veins were bulging out of his head, his teeth clamped tightly together. Now the wooden armor was up to his neck. He pushed a little bit more and the armor had covered his head. Leaving space for his nose, eyes, ears and mouth so that he would be able to use his senses properly. Zadok now released the handsign which he maintained the whole time and stood up straight. He brought his right hand up to his face so that he could look at the armor which took so much work to create. He gave a weak smile before he spoke.
"Sensei, I think i need some air."
At that Zadok released the chuunin ranked jutsu. His vision was now completely blurry and he was having trouble even making out his sensei. Suddenly Zadok started to fall backward. All the training had done its job. It was a mix of fatigue and the lack of air, but mostly the fatigue. He would then fall to the ground unconscious. [11/11]

Kemuri's clone stepped forward and caught the boy ads he fell. Lowering him to the ground he lay him gently there. The training had taken so much out of him, and he had expected this. If it were up to him he would have the two Medics take a look at him, but he knew it would be up to the Amekage.
