There are things that will always be in the back of your head, like stuff you learned when you were a kid. But overcoming them can be done. Once you've done all the soul-searching, you'll be in a position to change anything about yourself! surprised

It also depends on how bad you think you are.

Sure I have my bias, and obssessions, but beyond that...
I really don't think I'm that bad.

And although any change for the better would be good.
The amount of work required for the change, might not be worth the wasted energy. Of course others would probably think differently... *cough purple cough*

Rating someone on how bad they are brings us back to questions about morality, and that's a more personal and flexible issue. Let's just agree that everyone could do with some improvement. So why not make the effort? It's not like it requires physical labor. Tiny little mental reminders and thoughts are not going to wear you out. If you claim they are, maybe laziness isn't really the problem; maybe it's a lack of caring.

Again, you're trying to connect it to a scale of morality by saying you're "not THAT bad." But there's still room for improvement. So care already, dammit! scream

I know I'm not perfect... No one is...

But I just don't think I have the energy to make any changes.
I always slip back, and then the progress is lost.

Not all the progress is ever lost. You just have to dig until you make a big enough impression on yourself. whee And like I said, it doesn't take that much energy.

You've spent your life trying to be good, (even when you were little) I on the other hand... wouldn't know where to begin.

It's harder for someone that's never tried.
