Besides even if it was from 1998 it would be 13 years ot 15. I should know,i am 15 and i am from 1996...pokemon was released th year i was born biggrin

The original release of Pokemon was in '93 not '96. I should know. I stll have a copy of pokmon Blue version. It says '93, '96, '98.

I miss the old version of pokemon! It seemed alot better than the new versions they're coming out with in my opinion. I was born 95, and I was kind of obsessed with it as a kid, I still have the card collection to prove it too.

I was born in '93 and the first game I played that got me obsessed was yellow then blue. I've played at least one game in every "Chapter", have all of the season one cards, and am still currently playing Soul silver, even though I've beat red many times.
But I will never watch the anime anymore. After they switched Ash's voice actor it was never the same for me.

I despise the show in general...I prefer the games and the Manga of Pokemon...they at least have better characters and situations...I'm not for every one of the Mangas though...

Anyone who's not played in a while should really check out Pokemon Black & White. There's only like 160 new pokemon, and you only encounter these 160 pokemon before the elite 4. It may sound intimidating, but it's really more nostalgic than the other games have been. Consider: you're like a child again, exploring a new world where you haven't seen these creatures before.
