Velox merely smiled brightly and nodded to her before she entered the bathhouse. "I knew her name wasn't really princess," Velox joked to himself. In truth Nori was quite a terrible liar. She stuttered a bit too much to be believable sometimes. Now Velox, he had been going by the name Velox for what seemed like ages. To lie about his name was nothing new to him.
This shinobi was not the type of shinobi who slept often. He normally stood up for days on end no matter what the reason. As he stood awake he worked on his shinobi tools. He sharpened every weapon in his arsenal and make sure everything was capable of doing its correct job. While he worked on his equipment he thought of where Shane could possibly be. It wasn't until then that he had a sudden revelation. He could simply track Shane down by scent, as simple as that.
The man had stayed up til sunrise. The only thing which he was now waiting on was Nori. Once she awoke and readied herself they'd set out in track of Shane. As long as Velox had Shane's ring with him he could keep checking it for his scent in case it ever became too dull to sense.
The man was donned in his usual cloaked attire. He sat idly in the middle of the dojo. It seemed as if he were in a meditative state. It was just a way to help him think better. As he sat there he thought of how his nephew Kamina was doing. He had not seen the boy in quite a while. Now that he really came to think of it he had isolated himself for some time. There were a lot of people he had yet to see again.
