Obviously they won't.
The 3DS isn't a another DS.
This is going to last at least a few years.
I can't imagine a redesign, since it's ******** perfect the way it is.

I could foresee a redesign. Better battery life, slightly smaller, brighter screens, faster load times, little crap like that, but I'm glad I'm not missing out until that comes around. I probably wouldn't get a 3DS Lite if it was small stuff like that, anyway.

So how's that battery life? Is it noticeable?


It's enough to last you a good day unless you're going on some kind of gaming binge/have nothing to do all day. But in those cases I'd assume you're at home anyway and could just plug it in.

I mean, no matter how you slice it it's not as good as older DSes, but it's definitely manageable.

Needless to say, it's bloody excellent.

One thing that bugs me slightly though; the resolution for DS/DSi games looks awfully blurry. It can be rectified by holding Start+Select when booting the game up, but it then takes up smaller screen areas for both the top and bottom. I've gotten used to it now, but I wonder if such a thing would ever be fixed in any System Updates to come.

if i could make 250$ without my parents noticing, and as an added bonus get a 3ds with a silver color like my old DS phat, then i could prolly pull off gettin one. i always have to listen to bitching and moaning when i spend more than 30$ on something. 250$ is out of my range otherwise.


my hopes though is that the 3d camera system in it, will spawn us some epic webcams.
