Now you can scale your games like a whiny software pirate on Neogaf.

And now Whiny pirates on Neogaf can't use the excuse that the wii looks bad on their parent's big screens. (They'll probably still pirate the games, though.)

...Which I can imagine some people will really like!

I would be interested to see how Galaxy looked with this on an HDTV, but I'd never buy it.

there are some games out there that if you put it on an HDTV, it will still look nice, like MH tri for instance, it jsut looks ugly on our widescreen due to the computer has burnt an image into the screen, ever so subtle but its there.

and they said you can't burn an image into an LCD screen

I have played galaxy on an HDTV before, and I can see a whole ton of pixels.

Unfortunately, the ones around mario form weird jagged edges.

I'm pretty sure there's already been stuff like this available, but from what I've heard on podcasts and stuff it doesn't really improve it all that much.
