Transmition Received: The humans are resisting, master, what shall we do? We can not chase them into their homes. We can only watch and wait for what happens next.We become slaves to our own creations. Banished from our own homes and cities. We're a dying race and we must step up and keep fighting. Transmition Received: We will eradicated them. The humans will pay for what they have done to use. They're chance of survival are .3, the odds are in our favorite. We will destroy the machines, they may have intelligence, but they don't have our passion, they don't have our heart, and they don't have our spirit. The humans finally created an AI that could replicate human feelings. Though now the machines have taken over the earth, sending the humans into caves. A single hacker was able to establish a link into the network the machines use to communicate. This hacker creates a virus that the humans can insert into a machines memory banks and destroy all of the machines programming and drivers. Though it is very risky. Once the humans are connected to the machine's memory banks, they too are vulnerable to the virus. The Order, the human's "military" are the ones who put their life on the line for the remaining humans. Though there are certain requirements to join The Order. Anyone who joins The Order must have unwanted human genes. Most humans who join are mentally unstable, or contain genes not wanted within the human race. Here is where the story starts. A homicidal violent boy signing up to join The Order. He will make friends and maybe even be the one who destroys The Overmind, the machine that started it all. (No, you practically nailed it)
John walked into the VR room. Everyone was hooked up to a chair. Each of them had bands wrapped around their arms, legs, neck, and eyes which were connected to the chair. John at first was confused at what was happening. It wasn't until he took another look around the room that he saw someone who wasn't hooked up to the chair but instead was watching a screen.
"Excuse me? Is this where I'm supposed to be?" John asked the man looking at the screen. At first the guy jumped and then looked at John.
"Don't sneak up on me like that! You almost gave me a heart attack. Let me see your card," The man said and took John's card from his hands. "Yes...Mr. Grayson, you are the new recruit. We're almost done with the operation and then I can have Ms. Dawson take you through the simulation," The guy said.
John nodded and took his card back from the man and watched the soldiers move with tactical precision through whatever they were on.
The operation ended and the bands on all of the people hooked up to the machines released them and they all awoke from what looked like sleep.

In what seemed to look like a normal abandoned warehouse, really wasn't . Instead it was yet another remote location where the battle between human and machine raged on. Faith stayed beneathe the shadows, as her other commrades fought off the other Ai's creating a path for Faith. Her mission right now was to locate and infect the one of the Ai's main memory frame, once infected the other Ai's connected to that network would also be infected, increasing the chances of the human's victory over this war that feels as if it's been going on for an eternity.
Faith slowly moved closer on to her target, but just as it seemed that success was at her grasp, Faith was caught off guard by another AI hidden in the shadows close behind her. The AI pinned her down, held out his weapon and as it seemed that this was already Faith's end, a computerized voice was heard.
OPERATION TRAINING SESSION-1126 COMPLETED PROGRAM TERMINATED
Suddenly it was almost as if Faith's body traveled through some sort of strange space or network. Within one second Faith was back to reality, the wires hooked on to her body were quickly released. She sat up and groaned, feeling a bit disappointed in herself at the moment. Even though she showed no emotion Faith was grieving inside, she began to slowly rub her neck, to her being hooked up to those machines for so long always hurt her neck the most. As she rubbed her neck, Faith began to claw into her flesh as well, her nails piercing into her skin and bruising it slightly. "Dammit...Dammit...Training or not, that wasn't acceptable... I'm such a failure to this damn whole organization, I'm especially a failure to myself...Why...Why can't I be better...God dammit...dammit...dammit..." Faith thought to herself as she continued to clawing into her own skin. "Dawson, Dawson, Yo Dawson!"
The man at the screen called out to her, Faith looked up at him with an emotionless and blank face, pulling her hand away from her neck. The man stared at her back showing slight concern for her as always.
"Don't be so hard on yourself next time, but anyways, if you haven't noticed this is the new recruit, his names John Grayson. I need you to run with him a simulation if you can and maybe even give him an idea what we do round here and stuff."
In all honestly Faith hadn't noticed the new recruit standing by the computer screen. He looked around her age too, and Faith also thought he wasn't too bad looking either. Faith nodded her head in response and stood up from her seat. She held out her hand at the recruit to introduce herself. Her face still holding the emotionless gaze. (Hope you like the first post, =D and hooray's I got something right haha, also im to lazy to decorate my post for now so ya xp lol)

John shook hands with Dawson, "John Grayson, but feel free to call me whatever you would like," he said to her. She looked so void of anything, but it worked for her. She looked pretty in an odd kind of way.
Gray took a step towards one of the machines but the man who was at the screen stopped him, "No...You can't use a VR that isn't yours. We knew you were coming so we made you one," The man said and guided Gray to a VR that was alone in the corner of the room. "It is custom made with your measurements. We're going to sync you with another simulation. It'll be just you and Ms. Dawson," The man said.
Gray sat down on the chair and placed his arms and legs where they were supposed to be. The bands clasped around his arms, legs, neck, and eyes. He was paralyzed and felt his conscious fly through some type of medium.
He woke up in a bed on the simulation, as if he had been sleeping. He saw a cache of weapons and clothes on a shelf next to his bed. He put on some casual clothes and took a pistol along with a few combat knives. He waited for Dawson to enter the simulation.

Faith looked over at John as he went up to his own machine and began to hook himself up. He seemed almost casual about it as well, and wasn't hesitant in anyway. Faith admired that in a way. The man in the screen looked over at Faith, informing of her duty for now. She nodded her head in response, and walked over to her own machine. She took a deep breath before the machines could begin hooking up into her body. The simulations were always so tiring. Within moments Faith began to zoom through that fasting space once again, and appeared in the same bed John was sleeping in. She opened her eyes slowly and got up from the bed. She looked over at John and saw that he had already grabbed his weapons and changed, almost as if he already seemed to be steps ahead of her already. "You grabbed your weapons already? Have you done this before?" Faith said to him in her usual monotone. It didn't quite bother her, but it was still a fact that John was indeed an eager character, usual recruits are more hesitant and unsure of what to do, or most of the time, they acted more like dogs and were too obidient. All they did was follow exactly what Faith would say. It annoyed her, in a military where only the ill are accepted, you would of thought there would be a more interesting group of people. Faith continued gazing up at John as she walked over to the other side of the room, where her weapons and clothing were already there. She looked over at John, striking him a look that said, she was going to have to change in front of him now.

John smiled, "I'm no idiot when it comes to hints Ms. Dawson. I saw the weapons and clothes, seemed pretty obvious to me. Besides, this isn't the first time I have handled weapons," He said. John was very skilled with weapons. On occasions he went into the outside world to hunt for food. His favorite weapons were pistols, they were powerful in close range and were easy to conceal. But to John, knives were even better.
John noted Faith's gaze and turned around so she could dress in private. He wondered how she looked, but didn't turn around to sneak a peak. He was always taught better then that and was still an honorable person even though he was extremely violent. He never disrespected women unless they deserve it. He never attacked anyone without their knowing.
"Well you have the objective, what are we supposed to do after you finish dressing?" He asked still turned around.

Faith felt embarressed, actually asking a question like that, of course it was obvious that if there were weapons and clothes like that before him, it would most likely mean those were his belongings for him to put on. Faith began to slowly dress, looking over her shoulder time to time to check if John would be catching a glimpse of her. Though that seemed unlikely, John didn't seem to be that sort of man. Faith finally got dressed. She had put on dark pieces of clothing. Her dark shirt was tight and gripped on to her figure, creating the curves on her body to look more curvier. Faith had grabbed only a few weapons. A revolver gun, and two butterfly knives she had latched on to a belt on her pants. She also grabbed a few cases of ammo, and reloaded the gun, making sure she had put the safety on it. She turned to John. "It's ok for you to look now." Faith said, heading out the door. "Follow me for now."

John followed Faith out of the door, "Dawson, how can we tell what is an AI and what is just software?" John asked as they moved through the building. It looked like it was just a normal apartment building. There didn't seem to be anything unusual, but John knew that the AI could make their memory banks look any way they wanted too. John wasn't sure what kind of horrible things Faith might have seen when inside the memory banks. Usually the machines expressed a certain dislike for humans through the look of the their memory banks.
John knew it was just a simulation and this was nothing compared to the actual extent of what the environments looked like within the real machines of the world out there. He followed closely behind Faith as they moved through the halls.

Faith walked down the halls with John following closely behind her. Soon her and John had headed out the door where now they were walking in the middle of the city, well at least the city that the simulation had created. She noticed that there was something a little off today about the simulation. It was only a simulation, but the environment including the humans created by the software seemed to perfectly compared to that the AI would create. Training simulations wouldn't have these many humans, or virtual images of humans wandering around. Perhaps it was some sort of glitch? Faith couldn't help but to doze off for a moment and not answering John's question. She looked back at him for a moment, he didn't seem to be bothered by the fact he was ignored for a split second. "AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, that should be commen sense by now. AI's are machines or programs who have developed intelligence that of a human, so instead of being just average machines, programmed to only follow one order, the AI's with their newly developed intelligence would also find independance for themselves, and create their own judgements themselves. That's mostly the problem why we've just been recently over-ruled by them. Software are the programs the Ai's create. I'm not sure if I'm answering your question or not, or even if I'm doing the best I can, but pretty much that's what it is I believe." Faith said bluntly, continueing to look around her environment, examining the humans carefully. "In these memory banks, the AI's always hold their main software systems somewhere around this world, the main drive usually disguised as a human or something else you would find the world of the humans. Sometimes it can be rather difficult to telll which is which when you're in this world, that's the AI's developed this kind of image to confuse us humans, but we know better than that. Just remember to just always expect the unexpected when you're in this world."

"Ms. Dawson, I am aware of what an AI is. My question was whether or not it was possible to tell the difference between an AI and a programmed software. I know what you speak of and that was not an answer to my question," John said as he kept following Faith through the streets. "Now, where do we find the main driver for all of these programs?"

(sorry about the last post, I was half asleep when I wrote it :/, i wrote it like at 5am =o=) Faith didn't respond to John for a moment, but instead continued walking down the streets with an uneasy feeling. As her and John continued walking by, she noticed the humans staring at them strangely. "Didn't you hear me? I told you, both the software and AI disguise themselves in this world. It's hard to tell which is which. They can both either be disguised as a human or some sort of inanimate object within this reality. Usually the software is disguised as an inanimate object though. Finding the main driver is difficult in this reality as well, just, keep alert, and always expect the unexpected, pay attention to your surroundings. Now does that answer your question?" She said with slight irritation at the end. It wasn't out of any way because she felt bothered by him, but the fact was that she knew something else was near. An AI maybe, it had probably slipped into their simulation program without the technician knowing.

John looked around at the people, all of them looking cold and faceless like Faith. He almost forgot she was human. They were all programs, programmed to wander the streets without any real reason. They all were on a random route that made them see as if they had a destination.
In the distance, John spotted a human looking at them with a slight sense of horror on their face, the only emotion John had seen all day. "Over there," John motioned towards the man looking at the pair. "I think we found what we needed to find," John said quietly to Faith.

Faith looked up ahead, seeing a man with an expression that was different from the other programs within the area. Faith only nodded her head, looking down at the ground to make it seem as if they haven't noticed the program. "Good, you found one of the programs that can lead us to the main software.. The next step is to seem as secluded as you can be, you can't let the enemy notice that we know of its existance. In these matters we have to be stealthy, and not doing anything reckless. Understand?"
