We should discuss them here.

Mega Man Network Transmission

The second game in the continuity of the battle Network series, this game is one of those sequels that throws away almost everything from the first game, which I had never even played at the time of this. Ironically, it's closer in play to the actual Mega Man games than it's predecessor.

Personally, I prefer it. I wish they had made more Mega Man games like this. The sound track was unique and awesome, and it seemed to combine Mega Man with a sort of Metro-Vania type exploration.

The card system took a little learning, but the mega-buster was still useful, especially at the beginning, which is the only time you'll absolutely need it.

It was a game that deserved a sequel in it's own right, but the Gameboy games sold better, and I don't think many people know it to have existed.

Here's some music from it:

Holy s**t Network Transmission was awesome. I remember renting it while I was on vacation and getting stuck at fireman or jsut after, so I just played that over and over. Then I rented it again and got to the part where you have to find Numberman I think, and I got stuck again after that. I should really go find it and beat it.

More people like it than just Kegan? I think Gamestop has it for like, two bucks. I might pick it up.

The story is really dumb, but that's not what you play Mega Man for :B It got poor reviews BACK IN THE DAY for it's "dated side-scrolling."

HEH.

It's comforting to know that IGN has always missed the point.

I think it's definitely worth 2 bucks. The learning curve is a little dumb, and it's a really old game, but 2 dollars? That's like, water from a school vending machine :V
