I heard PSN was back up in Japan... I guess having a non-Japanese PS3 means Japanese account or not you're not getting in.

Different Store downloads, different Home spaces if you use Home.

i have a Japanese account, i only use it to watch video and play demo's for games, also to find out what games we'll be getting for the psone section on the playstation network.
i still have yet to buy a japanese card to put some money that account which you can buy here: http://www.play-asia.com/
