Born and raised in a small house in Beringhard, Marie never really got along with the other girls. She was always busy practicing moves her father taught her after the war with the dragons ended for a short bit. He was a knight, but only owned a fair amount of land for him and his daughter to live in. Marie's mother died when she was just a toddler of a dragon attack. Her father went to the war with the dragons shortly after for revenge on his beloved's death. Marie was watched out by Richard and Elizabeth, the parents of Sir Markus. She became close friends with him and, when they were old enough, worked side by side with him to ward off the dragons. On a rampage that happened not too long ago, the great blood dragon queen Matilda attacked the small outskirts and literally ate Marie's father before her eyes. SHe entered knighthood, even as a woman, and has vowed to do whatever it takes to bring down Matilda.
Marie is a calm girl with patience and brains. She can seem calm but is not a good strategist whatsoever. The only time she is known to have a temper is when people question why she is a knight, then you'll see the Queen of England gasping from all the foul language that comes from her mouth. To Sir Markus, she would go to the ends of the earth to protect him. Nobody knows why she is so protective of him, but many believe it's because she likes him, which isn't true. She finds him as a good childhood friend is all, or so she says.

Lucain Aoi was raised by his mother, for his father was actually a knight for Sir Markus, and he was one of those unfortunate few that never returned home. His mother wandered off, dazed and depressed, and didn't return. Not knowing what to really do without the comfort of his parents, he became a knight to have something to do with his cold heart.
Lucain is a semi-patient person that doesn't like showing his coyote side to others. So he naturally lies and calls himself a human instead. He is also very chivalrous most of the time, and true to his friends. Lucain tends to keep to himself at points in time, but when he does have a secret, it's pulling teeth to pry him open.

Garcian was born into a family of theives, he learned all of his tricks from his parents and brother, his father taught him how to fight, his brother taught him to run and his mother taught him how to charm. As Garcian grew his wolven abilities became more prominent, he could run faster and further, he was stronger and his eyes grew sharper, this allowed him to become a feared and respected theif. During the dragon wars theives became sought after, they could break into places and steal enemy intel, the allowed Garcian to make an even more lucrative career as a mercanary. However, the Humans eventually traced his dealings and less-than-legal activities back to him, they raided his house and destroyed his lifes work, with no reason to stay Garcian tracked down Daryll and joined his growing army.
Garcian is cool and calm, staying positive in even the most taxing situations. Some see this outlook as childish but it has helped him through a number of tough scrapes. He dislikes getting into frontal warfare, not due to any lack of ability, but he feels the intracasies of stealth are the true show of skill. He rarely shares his true feelings unless he knows he can trust you. idea

Persia was abandoned as a child and left at sea. A mighty water dragon, such as herself, stumbled upon her drifting through the oceans. He cared for her and regained her her strength back with his blood, transforming her into an even more powerful dragon. In his care, he taught her to learn the ways of marine animals. The one thing her taught her that really sunk in was to never trust a squid. He taught that they were vile marine animals thats only wanted to eat fish. This was a major problem for her because he also taught her that all fish were good beings. So now, she seeks revenge on every single squid that dare threaten the lives of all kinds of fishies.
Persia is a very strange and ditzy girl. She'll start singing songs about the destruction of squids or even make-up her own tune to a song already created. She is not only unique in a ditzy way, she's also unique in a clumsy way. Sometimes she will fall even sitting down or standing perfectly in place. Lillith grew up in the forest secluded from the rest of the world and really away from all of their troubles. She didn't have much to worry about, her family was fed by the patrols, and her mother and father were guards of the village they had, so it was to be her job when she grew of age. She was happy, and although she always felt confined to the village, she was thankful for their protection and loved to go fishing with the other young harpies. This all changed when her village was run through by the war. Fire and destruction destroyed the entire valley, and she found herself alone. She had been at the end of her training as guard at the time, and it was going to be her first night alone on the edge the next night.
When the war struck such devastation on her people, she vowed revenge, and so she joined the army decked out with her armor, simple things to help keep her from injuring herself while attacking, and moved into society. Unfortunately society didn't like unclothed people, let alone people who had bird legs and lion tails, so she ended up in Daryll's army since he had the most accepting group. Really her goal is just to figure out which army is responsible for the war to begin with, and kill the leader, but she has to start somewhere, and she couldn't do it alone, so she sits in wait, fighting to stop the war.

Matilda was once at peace with the world, seeing the humans as equal beings and not wanting to bother them. That was until they murdered her loved ones. Considering she was a blood dragon, and one of the last, she was being hunted. She quickly discovered that humans were not the kind creatures she thought they were. She decided that the entire human breed needs to be destroyed for the sake of other dragons and creatures out there. She destroyed villages and looked for the other two of the Wayshelm force, planning to use the power to rid the world from humans. She came across the kingdom of Beringhard, and met Daryll. She thought he would be a good accomplice to have so she lured him to her like a mouse to a mouse trap. She did have feelings for him, but did not love him. She destroyed the villages and towns of Beringhard, looking for a knight with information on who the two other forces were. When he didn't give her what she wanted, she ate him. Of course she didn't know that he had a daughter. Not wanting anyone to know that she was searching for something, she planned to kill the daughter, but the villagers attacked her and she could only retreat. She found out that the Duke of Beringhard was one of the forces. She planned to use him, but knowing he wouldn't do it voluntarily, planned to use his brother as bait. Then finding out that Markus hated betrayal, she decided to find his weakness and use that against him.

A born leader and king of the Helmlings. Daryll is the younger half-brother of Markus, he grew up never knowing his mother as she died during childbirth. Daryll's life consisted of training with his father and brother. Markus was always stronger than Daryll and would always win when they fought, but Daryll showed his skills in other areas, he could outrun Markus, outshoot him and more. Daryll met Matilda shortly after his father died, he fell in love with her. As a result he we exiled from the kingdom by his brother, he fled to the forest and lived there for 2 years, when the wars began again he feared for his fellow Helmling's safety, he established a stronghold deep in the forest and declared it a safe haven for any Helmling or Dragon who wished it.
Daryll is considered by most to be a good leader, and a firm believer in the philosiphy of "If a job's worth doing then it's worth doing well." He often puts others before himself and is frequently seen tending to missions personally. If he wants something done, he gets it done, good luck stopping him.
